Oh, honey, I understand your pain with school. x_x College has been keeping me away from Mene all week, and I'm taking a break that I shouldn't be taking since I have a painting to finish and I need to draw a study of paper bags (>_>). I hope the quest is still going well, though. . . I thought you found a seller for the King's Crown a few weeks ago. o_O;

@Wendy: Aww wow so much to handle. A study of paper bags? That sounds odd... are you sketching paper bags in different positions (that's what I thought when I read that xD ) Well I place an offer on Azntwin's crown a few weeks ago, but she decided not to sell it a few days ago. |
@Min: Actually it's the progression of a normal paper bag being crumpled. We draw it in five stages, each time crumpling it more and more until it becomes a wad of paper. Pretty cool, actually!
Sad to hear you didn't get the crown. D: I'm sure more will definitely come along the way. I got lucky and got mine in the raffle, so I wouldn't exactly know how hard it would be trying to find a seller the way you're going about. |
O I see, that sounds cool. That is similar to what I did in art class last year. We had to draw an apple and then slowly eat it and sketch it as it was became smaller.
Well I am not disappointed about not having one yet, I don't spend too much time on Mene anyways. O that is lucky, it will be exciting when the raffle starts up again. Well each day I browse the front page of the exchange to see if anyone is taking offers on a crown, but I don't go any deeper then that ^^" I'm off to study some more and finish typing part of my argumentative essay .______________. |
The apple thing sounds REALLY cool. In fact, I might bring that to my teacher's attention of something to do. :) Or . . . I have to do something for a portfolio called "in between." I could do a half-eaten apple -- it would be in between being full and completely eaten. :O

I will cry if I ever find essays lovely. They are such a pain for me to write because I struggle with which particular words to use. I always have all the ideas down, but am unsure of how to connect them all together. Heeeey Ithir <3333333333 O wow that sounds awesome! How much time did you have to do this? Was this one of those 'quick' assignments? I know we were given a period to do the apple thing with charcoal and I rushed a ton. Mine ended up smudgy because I'm not experienced with charcoal :gonk: |
