I agree. I cannot even say how much it irked me when I would see a relationship where one person was dating two people simultaneously but those two people weren't together as well. They were basically strangers to one another. It's unfair and neglectful to both parties. I'm not sure how anyone could stand that.

-Shrugs- People are just idiots. Really, humans are social creatures. And I believe in polygamy, believe it or not. Not saying that men should be the only ones to have multiple spouses, but I believe that really, it's in human nature to be close to more than one person. I just think that those people should be close to each other and not kept apart. Everyone needs to love each other, or it just ends with badly hurt feelings, broken hearts, and an extreme loss in trust and self-esteem.
