Wow... Lol. What language did you learn in, if you don't mind my asking? I can't remember what country you're in. Isn't it the Philippines?

Yup, the Philippines~ :3 But since I studied in an exclusive girl's school, we learned in English. :3 Of course, we had Filipino (our native language) subject/s, and we even had a Spanish subject. =)

Most private schools in the city (Manila) teach in English, because these schools are the more... umm... what's the word? ^^;; I dunno. =\ It's the city, so we're more modernized, I guess. =O A lot of public schools teach mostly in Filipino though. :> So, basically it depends on the school. :3

Oh, I ask because even the people from the Philippines who learned in English seem to have different grammar and such. No offense, but the majority of the ones I've talked to (and you, every now and then) mess up with simple spellings and with punctuation. I think it's just because you're not actually in the country and going to our schools.

Sorry if I offended, I was only making an observation. ^^;;

Really? =O Well, from an observation here, most of the people who move out of the country are those who think that they will have a better life outside of the country. =\ Cause, well, our country is a mess right now, in all honesty. ^^;; Most of these people are those who didn't study English extensively like those who study in private schools, for example. =O Exactly why they go abroad, because the country here didn't do anything for them because of lack of jobs, education, and etc.
Most of our very fluent English speakers stay here, and only go abroad for degrees in university not available here.

And, well, in my case, I'm more fluent in English, but I'm human and prone to mistakes. ^^;; Unless I make them a lot? xDD;; I'd like to think I don't though. 8DD;;

And no, I'm not offended. :> We really can't speak as well as those in the US like you, of course. =P But compared to all other Asian countries, we have the most fluent English speakers around.

You know, I've always wanted to start welcoming newbies in the Fresh Meat subforum, but I never know when to start and what thread/s I should post in, since I don't like leaving people out. :< And it's not like I can post in every single thread. 8DD;;

That's why you pick the threads with the least amount of responses. Especially those where no one's told them to read the rules yet. The majority of newbies don't bother reading the rules at all until they either get into trouble or someone bitches at them too. XD
