Avatar: The Last Airbender. I spent the past year snorting derisively every time I saw someone talking about it, but I totally got sucked in to watching it. An advantage of avoiding the show since its initial airing is that none of the plot twists have been spoiled for me. XD

Forums are irritating! When I actually want to have conversations, nobody's around.

lol Its an addicten little show, aint it? I got sucked in just before the second season started. So I've been one of the ones chomping at the bit for some new episodes.

I haven't been so tense over the fates of a bunch of fictional characters for a long time. I should have learned my lesson when Disney came out with Pirates, but I just wasn't willing to accept that a channel I'd sworn off (Nickelodeon) could still make a show I would watch willingly. XD

I meant forums in general, but yeah, everyone seems occupied with the chat threads over there. I just ate some delicious vanilla creme pop-tarts, so I'm great.

Cartoon Network has been disappointing me a lot recently, so I can understand what you mean. I think kids shows are getting odder by the minute. I used to love cartoons, but they have been really bad recently and all the good ones are ending or already ended. ;-;

Agreed about CN. I haven't watched it in ages, even though it used to be one of four channels I would actually watch willingly. Now Nick has all the cartoons I like (Fairly Oddparents, for one... ha.) What happened?? I heard Foster's is good but I don't care to dig around for air times.

chadarnook: I haven't watched it much recently either. XD Recently its been Nick, G4 Discovery, and Animal Planet. Fairly odd parents is AWESOME!! XD I like Danny Phantom too. I don't know if they play that much anymore. Foster's Home is really cute. Definitely worth the watch at least I think.

Replace Nick with CNN and we're in the same boat. I typically just watch cartoons on the internet since I can do it at my leisure that way.

Cosmo is one of my favorite cartoon characters. XD I saw a few episodes of Danny Phantom, and it was quite good-- shame it got canceled.

lol. Looks like we have the same taste in programing. I tend to read my news online though. For some reason watching it depresses me. I watch USA sometimes too. *Thinks Monk is the coolest*

Why do all the good shows get canceled?

I hate the media, but I watch the news networks anyway. Not sure why.

I used to watch Monk! Yeah, that show is funny. I couldn't always sit through a whole episode, though, because I tend to sympathize really strongly with fictional characters, and watching him go through stuff that freaks him out causes me physical pain. XD

I don't know. I sometimes think that with Nick, the content threatens to take a darker turn and they don't want to endorse it anymore. Didn't something like that happen with Invader Zim? (Though really, how on earth could you hire Johnen Vasquez to make a cartoon for you and expect it to be G-rated?)
