Hi, I have been here for some time, well a week or so.
Sadly I feel totally lost and .. really really confused. :P BUT.. I found tetris..Tetris is my friend.. :sweat: yay.. for tetris.. :sarcasm: |

When I first arrived I tried to make Tetris my friend. But it spit in my face and called me a peasant. So then I went to Snake and we became better friends than I coulda imagined. ... Seriously, I suck at Tetris big time. :lol: For those lost amongst the vast wilderness of Menewsha, the Fresh Meat forum is the best place to start to find their way. First off, the best thing a new user can do is become familiar with the rules. They'll make sure everything runs smoothly for you. We have newbie guides stickied at the top of this forum. Such as the Newbie Starter Guide and Newbie Gold Earning Guide. And by all means take advantage of the Adopt a Newbie thread. And if you have any other question, don't hesitate to ask. ;D |

(( I come from Gaia, beeing there since ´04, and never have I gotten -hi- from a Mod before. =3)) Thank you for your greetings, I must say I do like this site better then Gaia, it looks cleaner and .... well... just plain nicer.. *nods* I will look at the guilds and ofcourse the rules. But ... Can I just ask one thing? Why do I have to save each time I change something on my character?.. I mean instead of just making all changes -then- save? And I did look at the -adopt a newbie- I can't ask for one yet. >< This is my second post like .. ever! |

@Sunstar ~ Gaia is a huge place. I'm sure all the mods have their hands full. Mene is a smaller, more relaxed community so that gives us the opportunity to mill about.
As for saving your avi, I couldn't really answer that. :sweat: That's just how it was designed. I had no hand in it. :P |
Menewsha MODs are the absolute best, as are most of the support staff. They interact with everyone and actually post. :gonk:

Welcome to Menewsha! Captain has pretty much covered the basic things you need to know, so I shall leave out the usual long introductory rant of mine. Try posting in other forums and threads to, when you have the time. There are some good and/or rather interesting topics up in the General Discussion and if you are looking for a hangout, you could look around the Menewsha Nation for a place to just sit down and chat. ^_^ If there is anything about the site you'd like to know or ask about, feel free to ask or PM me about it. I just got here too! Was glad to see my old friend Tetris here already.
Sadly, Tetris didn't seem to have too much to spare, but her cousin Space Invaders bought me this nice new shirt! It beats freezing to death. ;) I'm glad that someone had better luck with Tetris. :) |

I find them to be among the friendliest bunch from all the sites I've been at. Ah, Tetris. Tetris is my friend too! Although I haven't been as good with it as I usually am, lately ^^; I FAIL. Out of the 50-zone? Do you mean earning gold in the games? ::is really sleepy - it's 5:30am and is only up at all as she's role-playing with a friend over IM:: >_>;
But... yeah. XD; The maximum gold-earning per game is 50 gold and 500 gold per day. This is to discourage botters hacking the game. It's just not profitable enough for most people to bother with. XD Also, welcome to the site; etc etc. I've seen you about and I'm glad you're enjoying us so far. :3 The staff does hang out in virtually every area of the site when we can. Those of us who have less time than others tend to stick to our own threads and stickies and so forth. :B But the moderators especially will post alongside everyone. :3 We need to earn gold for the next shop updates too. ;__; |
@Star: Thank you so much! I shall call her Snuffles as well, and I will cuddle and love her. I adore stuffed animals. Always have, ever since I was little. There is just something so comforting about then and their little button eyes. How are you settling in? I hope the site is treating you well. Have you wandered over to general chat yet? There seems to be plenty of stuff to talk about over there so it could be helpful to take a peek and see if there are any topics that catch your interest.
