I'd like to say I'm somewhat of an artist, I do well with digital vector art, and are a keen hockey player... of the field variety. Just a little bit about myself...

I am also a member of gaia. But I prefer mene by a substanial amount. The atmosphere here is so much nicer.

I hate having to explain this xP

um... simply put it's a type of picture that can be rescaled forever without any loss of quality. You know how normal pics go all pixelated and fuzzy when you increase the size? That doesn't happen.
It's also different in appearance to what you'd expect from photoshop or the likes... instead of getting a painted appearance from brushes, you have to make do with layers of flat colour, gradients, and transperancy. In that way it's perfect for cel-shading or logos.

Here is lots of examples.

I wish I had a program that would allow me to do vectors.
For a while I had photoshop and that went along well, but my computer caught a virus and I had to ditch everything on it... including hte legal copy I had of Photoshop... which my ex now has and won't give back to me.

LOL.

I'm fairly new here too.. from Gaia, as well... so I hope you'll enjoy it, as I do.
I quick gold tip... everyday you can play the games to obtain up to 500 gold.
It's a bit tedious, but goes by fairly fast after you get used to a few games.

and Impi... try 'Inkscape'. It's free version of Illustrator... or there's also GIMP, which is a free version of Photoshop. Hell, get both and you've got free vector and raster programs ;)
