How do you even pronounce that? Men-oo-shah? Men-eh-wa-sha? Where did such a name come from? Does it stand for anything?
Well, enough rambling questions. My name is Maldarion, I am a friend of Kierys's. She's been positively nagging me to join ever since she did. We used to go through Gaia together, but we've known each other personally for about a year now. She's a sweet girl. About the only one who really understands me. So when she came to me telling me this place was top of the tops and a considerably better option than Gaia, well, I believed her, of course. I am still holding out to see if it is true.
I would like to say I will be here often, mingling amongst all you fine folks, but my computer has suffered a terrible virus that inevitably ended in its ending. I suppose that is what I get for downloading so much manga and music. I am a bad, bad person, oh yes. So expect to see me occasionally, mostly via the generous Kierys and her lovely little functioning computer. I wish we had a library I could go to, but alas, no such luck. I will just have to wait until I can afford a new computer. I wouldn't hold your breath.
So I imagine you have all kinds of burning questions for me. Which is just fine with me, because I have a few in return. Site navigation, mostly. Ki has offered her help in this but she is working often, and right now she is engrossed in a movie. I really rather not bother her. Not when there are so many lovely, helpful people here to ask, after all. That is what she tells me, anyways. So, bring forth your questions, your curiosities, and I will answer them the best I can. In return, I would like to know the best way to go about finding a good rp. It's all I really go online for anymore and really, it's where you will most likely find me whenever I do manage to get online.

I figured it was pronounced as a homophone to "minutia." Or as a purposeful misspelling to include "me" and "new" while still having the meaning of "little details."

Bloodstainedwings: I enjoy a lot of music, but I am mostly a rock sort of person, but if you throw a band name at me, I could probably tell you nothing about it. I guess I just listen to what I hear and not the names or anything. I never was good with names. I do know some big band names, of course, like Disturbed and System of a Down. Also, Emilie Autumn, although she is not big yet. Give her time. Her stuff is addicting. I also like R.E.M., Utada Hikaru, Apocolyptica, Nightwish, She Wants Revenge, and Johnny Cash, just to name a few. How about you? Any favorites?

Quite well, just far too short - my parents showed me around a nearby Greek village, so I had to get up early. Now I'm all tired, my feet hurt and I can't move an inch, so this is going to be an interresting New Year's Eve... :XP

If Menewsha is indeed pronounced Me-ne-wa-sha, it would be eerily similar to the pronunciation of Lake Minnewashta. Why are so many places in our state named with "Minne-" anyway? Minneapolis, Minnehaha, the afore-mentioned Minnewashta, the name of our state (of course)....am I leaving anything out?

Anyway, I hope the snow doesn't stick around forever or half-melt and then ice over so I slip and fall on my butt when I'm shoveling the walk. I hate that. Here's to wishing there won't be any blizzards or ice-driven power outages, either!

Mostly I am just hoping for clear sidewalks when Kierys has to go to work. She's sleeping right now but she'll have to leave here pretty soon. I wish I had a car because I would drive her then. I'll have to be going here soon too.
