Here's yet another newbie ! YAY! (And I brought a friend!-> Hanadairo)

After studying the rules and lurking around in various corners of Menewsha, I've finally found the guts to post my introduction :squee: ( oh my, I love your emoticons!)

So~ Other People would describe me as "your avarage self-mockering anime/manga nerdlett with a weird sense of humor (If I even posess something like that -> german D; ) and a baaaad taste in fashion". In contrast, I would call myself "pretty normal" :sarcasm:.

My interests vary from Pixel-Art (mainly Dolling), Anime/Manga, Fashion I could never EVER wear/afford ( Lolita, for instance.), Music (bad taste alert #2!), drawing/sketching , various TV Shows ( House MD, Supernatural, NCIS, to name but a few), Musicals aaaaaand so on :D

Since I have no ideas what I could write...I'll stop here O.O~

I'm quite fond of dolling, similar fashions (I love lolita too, various visual kei and plenty of other things my wallet would kill me for!) and House MD is by far one of my favorite series.

Well, my taste is pretty wide-ranging :D Starting with J-Music in general (J-Rock/Pop, also with a more "traditional" touch ), K-Music, Rock, some symphonic-metal bands (the most common D:) to Anime/Movie-Soundtracks.

The styles I absolutely loathe are schlager music, Hiphop (especially german hiphop. blargh.) and Techno :o.

I'm personally more interested in J-rock myself, as far as J-music goes, although I've definately gave the occasional listen to most of what else you listed. I tried at J-pop but from what I've heard so far I'm only fond of a few songs.. perhaps I just need to find more of a variety to give a listen!

But I'd have to disagree with you on Hip Hop and Techno. I really disliked them due to their main steam counterparts, at first, but when I gave some other musicians a listen I adored it. Although I find a lot of techno to be repetitive to the point of boredum, I know a few really good DJs where I live, so they're always handing out free mixes which I enjoy.

Setsu, are you into Tsugaru Shamisen musicians like Agatsuma and the Yoshida Brothers? My beloved J-Rock led me to them and they're AMAZING. Imagine a 500 year old instrument finding new life as a "rock guitar" for the modern world. Very cool.
