I'm new here, obviously. I hear that the longer and more substantive your posts are the faster you make gold so I'll share quite a lengthy bit about myself with you all; that way I get gold and maybe a few friends slightly quicker than if I just said "Hello, I'm new." Kapeesh? Kapeesh.

So, I'm new here, but not to forums in the slightest. I've been avidly attending message boards since I was about 11 (young, I know). I do currently have an account on Gaia (I think I have a 'thing' for avatar sights), but I've become quite scarce due to their current trend in real money only items. However, I ran across this site through an ad on one of my favorite web comics. I looked through a few things and well...here I am? It seems like a fun place to be.

I digress.

I should get more into the "who I am" portion of this rather than rambling, right? Right.

Well, I'm currently 18 years old, but that'll change to 19 rather quick here (my birthday is on the 5th of March ;D!). I'm quite excited. I'm a freshman in college going for a bachelors of the sciences in Psychology. I'm in love with the subject matter and can't quite get enough of it. I enjoy language. I can currently speak a little bit of German, but that's about it. I would love to be able to speak Italian and Russian though. I can be a grammar Nazi on occasion, but I in no way claim to be an expert. I just can't stand it when I see a sentence being completely torn apart in an extreme means (Wai, helo thir I ken c u!).

That's about all there is to know about me, though. I really don't know what else I can ramble about, truthfully. I'm up to answering questions if anyone wants to know anything else. :]

Yeah. I've been posting here and there. Trying to figure out where I'll like it best. On Gaia I pretty much stuck to the Charity/Quests forum so I'm trying to find my footing around here. Don't know quite where I'd like to make my home base just yet. Also, thank you for that. I was actually working towards 500 so that was a nice surprise.

Thank you! I had a chinchilla named Persephone! I love the greek/roman/titans/gods/etc stuff. I think of that really old song about the hooker when I see your name. I love that song, but I don't think you're a hooker. Just want to clarify that >_>;

Did you enjoy doing the stripping thing? I debated it not too long ago. Especially since I live somewhat close to vegas it wouldn't be too bad of a drive to do it every few weekends or whatever, but Im not really brave enough D:

I liked it enough to do it for 10 years.
Then it got dangerous, so I had to quit. Also, I graduate this year and need to get real jobs to build my resume.
Dancing is honestly way easier than public speaking [lol]

Haha. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to try. Dangerous though? People or just circumstances? I'm pretty good at public speaking so if it is easier I should be able to figure it out at some point hahah.

What are you graduating in? I should be graduating this year as well in Clinical Psychology, but I still have a bit more to finish up for the licensing in this state.

Well thanks! It's a little outdated. Mostly just the age part, but other than that I guess it is mostly true. My spelling isn't always the greatest nor my grammar, but I do make an attempt to at least try to be mostly correct in what I am saying. I'm glad you agree, though. xD
