Well, as you might guess from my posting in this forum, I'm new to the site.
As for the title and emoticon up there, it's in relation to my failure to perform in the arcade.
So I currently have little to no gold. As I post this, I hope that it brings more than the arcade did.

It didn't. Well, that's rather depressing. It appears that getting gold on this site will be harder than I expected.
In any case, I look forward to getting clothes. I mean, spending time here on Menewsha.

Welcome, looks like you got the hang of it. I'm not good at most of the games but I at least try. The more lengthy your message is in the post the more gold you get. I advise you to forget the gold and chat away to enjoy. Then you would have gold in no time. :3

It'll be slower pace and relaxing. It's just a small break. Unfortunately, that also means no donations.
I'll simply have to obtain clothing the hard way.

Crowsbeak: You can go to the charity thread or questing thread.. If you want to know what outfits you want you can go to Avatar thread to download the MAC so you have an idea you want. Hello and welcome to Menewsha. Yes it is harder to earn gold here that on some other site. But I find that with every item I by there is a real sense of accomplishment that goes with it. A couple tips that could help are: the longer your posts are the more gold you earn, and I personally start playing tetris on level 5 it helps earn quicker, and with being able to earn 500 a day on games you will start to see the gold add uo.

Hey Crowsbeak, I love your name, is it a reference, or does it just sound cool? It took me a few days of playing tetris and snake to get this dress. I love it though ^___^. I like this place even though its not really "newbie friendly". There are some great people on here, especially now that you're here ^_____^

Hello, I'm Tut'. And don't worry, I never get more than like 2 or 3 gold in the arcade. I suck at games. You probably do better.

Hey Crow! Welcome to Menewsha! :D Nice to meetcha. And like Tut said, sucking at games is par for the course for some of us. I just managed to get a 50 gold game today and nearly danced for joy. My usual games are closer to 4 gold. XD

Well, yeap, I'm sure you know about the double posting thing now :) As for the making gold part, its actually quite easy to make gold here. Easy yes, fast? not really. Well, it just depends actually. I got really fed up with the games when I first tried them so I resorted to earning my gold the posting way. And I hope this helps but I tested it and it seems a single character typed in a post is worth 0.02G. So its pretty straight forward that a longer post would end up with more gold, though there is a 20G limit to each post like there is the 500G limit with the games. But soon after discovering that I needed a little bit more gold, I tried my hand at the games again. Well, I didn't get the hang of things instantaneously but with a lot of practice, things got a lot easier. Well, at least with Snake and the chopper game. I still suck at the rest :P

I do hope that even though making gold here is indeed a long task, you will still be able to enjoy your time here on Menewsha! It is because making gold requires some hard work that rare items aren't as expensive as in other avatar websites. You will feel really rewarded after earning a rare item then ^^" So post lots and welcome to Menewsha! See you around!

Well I made mine up and Bina Fydan means Pure Water in Al Bhed.. LOL some of you may know Al Bhed in Final Fantasy games but I knew the language before the games came out.. maybe after the first two but I learned it from one the rping chats. xD Bina=Pure , Fydan=Water. It doesn't necessarily mean Pure water but the definition for each one. Pure means innocent, you know what goes there.. and for water the way water flows, easy going, easy flowing.. etc.. Over all I thought it was pretty.. :D I'm also water elemental..Flaria is just fire elemental (my sis) xD
