-Smiles- Hiya
Guess what! This is my official first post ever on Menewsha -Applauds from Audience- heh... So I wanted to make it a really spectacular one! If only I could remember where I put those fireworks... Oh well, it's probably for the best anyway; they generally don't work out well inside. Not to mention the local pigs frown on such tomfoolery. Instead! I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself. I just turned 18 a few months ago, and just over a month ago I moved across the country! Why? Of course there's a very complicated answer to that... but if I were to boil it down. I wanted opportunities that where I was couldn't offer, and where I am now I think can. Here's hoping I was right! Why did I tell you that? And not something like... I hate fast food but I love hamburgers! Well probably because my life sort of revolves around what I did not two months ago, at least it does right now... so that's a little about me! Now, maybe you could tell me a little bit about yourself! I'd love to hear about it. Hmm... maybe I came off a bit strong... I do that sometimes. Well for the sake of, well, gold (just being honest) I'm going to keep posting here. Call it; questing! What for? Clothes! God knows I need them. My skivvies can only last so long un-cushioned. |
Hello! How do you do? I'm Cosmo and welcome!
Hmmm...me? Well, I'm your average starving college student trying to survive in the real world. Thus, why I like Menewsha so much! xD |
Welcome to Menewsha Jazzed. I hope that you'll like the closeknit community that we have here. If you have an questions feel free to ask me and I'll do my best to answer them. If not I'll point you to a staff member who can.
Here are a few helpful links to help you get started MAC Hair Gallery MPG About me...hmm....Well I am 22 and currently seeking a job and I may have to move to do, but that requires money that I don't have. Menewsha is basically my home on the internet. Oh and by the way you can call me bbr, rose, rosie or bbrose. Just take your pick. |
Awesome! I'm in school too! But it's online, so I work allot to pay bills, and internet, etc =P
I completely understand that analogy... Cheers, to surviving like the pros we are! -raises drink [grapefruit soda]- |
Welcome to Menewsha Jazzed!!!
Just so you know, I've merged your two first post as double-posting isn't allowed on Menewsha. :) Not to worry though, I don't think you came off too strong. The forums are a bit slower around this time. That sounds like an amazing adventure.. moving across the country. I wish you luck with that!! Have fun and feel free to ask if you need help! |

Thanks so much! I like bbr =) You can call me Jazz if you like. Or J.Z.? No scratch that, I'd rather not get called after a rapper >.< though I'm sure worse things can be related to the name Jazz. Many good things are too though, so I like it! Thanks so much! Sorry it takes me so long to type... Quote:
*EDIT* Aww crud did I just do it again?.... -sigh- **EDIT** Is that better? You can't delete these buggers... heh, sorry.... |
No worries. :) A lot of people don't realize what we mean by double-posting. But yes.. definitely not conversationg with yourself. xD That doesn't leave much room for discussion!!
And if you're looking to quote two people at once, I suggest the multi-quote button. I love that thing... *_* (I also deleted that second post. :) If you find you've accidentally double-posted, you can hit the ! button on the second post to self-report it and we can clean it up for you!) |
That's quite alright Jazz. The MAC isn't quite all the way up to day if you read the first post and stuff, but it's still a good start.
Classes online are the best, I wish I had been able to keep taking mine. |

I was looking at that, mostly cause it grabbed my attention like a burst of laughter in the middle of an intense philosophical lecture. Quote:
Hold on I'll get the picture for you guys... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...viWishlist.jpg What d'ya think? *EDIT* Okay. MAYBE I over did it a Teeenie Weenie bit... I just started clicking, and before I knew it I'd crammed more on that poor souls body than Kirstie Alley can purge in a day! (You remember Kirstie Alley, right? Jenny Craig's EX-spokesperson?) Yeah classes online are handy when you need more time for bill-paying, but I definitely think I'm going to go to a college/university/program after this. Something more community oriented... Get myself out in the world, you know? -dances to celebrate 1st multi-quoted post EVER- |
Hi Jazzed! Welcome to Menewsha.
I see I missed the official welcome train on this one, but I figured I should drop by and say hi anyway. :D Hope you enjoy your stay with us! |
Hello there and welcome to Menewsha. I am 26 years old, engaged to a wonderful man, and trying to have a baby. That is about all there is to me.
|
Lol, welcome to Menewsha! I like how you are spunky about things.. xD You're fun. You will feel right at home here. Especially making tons of friends! I'm hard of hearing. I have a twin sister on here name, Flaria. I'm 21. I'm also ten minutes older than she. *giggle snork* I'm planning to go to college to become a psychologist for the hearing impaired. Possibly earn a minor in arts of some kind. :D I don't know what else to say about me unless we chat about. :3 |

10 minutes? Woah, that's 10 whole minutes of life experience she'll always depend on you for. xD Psychology is so interesting! I'm taking philosophy right now, which is similar. I took psych in highschool but my teacher was such a bore. Plus, it was highschool :P. I want to take it again someday. I also want to learn to sign language! You know what, a very close family member suggested I try to learn something new. Sort of like a "New City=New Adventures" type of thing. Something I've maybe had interest in, but never got much knowledge of. You just gave me the perfect idea for it, since I've always wanted to learn sign language. =) Now I just need to go about learning how to go about learning it... >.< there's a Sign Language for Dummies book, right? Though I'm pretty sure hand to hand help would be more efficient, no pun intended  Well, it's a work in progress and I just passed GO! |

LOL! Yeah it does.. I know sign language since I was about maybe five.. But I speak normally. I only sign if needed like for some of my hearing impaired friends. Most of the time I would just talk.. but it's hard sometimes on how a person speak.. at times lazy.. or no facial expression to go with.. Which is best if you're expressive when learning to sign since it's essential for us hearing impaired people. If you're emotionaless.. it's a no go.. LOL we are also blunt.. and right up front.. Yeah books are good but best to learn from someone who are fluent and hang around people who uses the language. In that way you can learn rather quickly than rather by the book. I'm "spunkeh" too.. Hehe.. *shifty eyes* x3 Yeah me and my sis are very close friends.. we know each other inside out. We never had any brothers but we have our father who tends to act like one at times.. xD If you got any questions... ask me away okay? I'll be more than happy to answer them for you. |

Which it's very true about kids.. I even taught a class of deaf kids for one class period. Lol It was agriculture class. It was a lot easier for me because I don't have to worry about little ones speaking so soft where I can't hear them. Signing to them makes it fun and easy. :3 I understand that even though it's two years apart.. I don't know how it is to have a year gapiness but I'm so used being the older one by ten minutes at the same time makes no difference. I suppose my parents just gave me that responsibility to watch over my sis. Which is the case most of the time. xD Nifty treasure map.. lol good one. Let me know when you find it. :3 |

Yeah it's, different. When he's was in his last year of elementary, I was just getting the do's and don'ts of it. Finally when I did get to junior high, he was on his last year of that too and going to highschool. Kind of like a race I could never win. And he'd never be there when I got picked on either. No matter though, cause it wasn't his fault =) I think I prefer him older because maturity wise we get along great since I act like a grown up most of the time, and he acts like a child with grownup intelligence :P |
