So I wanted to make it a really spectacular one! If only I could remember where I put those fireworks... :roll: Oh well, it's probably for the best anyway; they generally don't work out well inside. Not to mention the local pigs frown on such tomfoolery.

I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself.
I just turned 18 a few months ago, and just over a month ago I moved across the country! Why? Of course there's a very complicated answer to that... but if I were to boil it down. I wanted opportunities that where I was couldn't offer, and where I am now I think can. Here's hoping I was right! Why did I tell you that? And not something like... I hate fast food but I love hamburgers! Well probably because my life sort of revolves around what I did not two months ago, at least it does right now... so that's a little about me!
Now, maybe you could tell me a little bit about yourself! I'd love to hear about it.

Hmm... maybe I came off a bit strong... I do that sometimes. Well for the sake of, well, gold (just being honest) I'm going to keep posting here. Call it; questing! What for? Clothes! God knows I need them. My skivvies can only last so long un-cushioned.

Oh my! I just cruised those pages, they're definitely a huge help! Well I haven't tried the M.A.C., it's still downloading, but I'll give it a go when it's done. I've looked at the stores and damn they're money hungry! Well, inflation does as inflation does. I definitely think I'll make a "wishlist" though, something to aim towards. I'm not going to invest into it, can't go getting my hopes up this early in the game can I!

Yeah classes online are handy when you need more time for bill-paying, but I definitely think I'm going to go to a college/university/program after this. Something more community oriented... Get myself out in the world, you know?

10 minutes? Woah, that's 10 whole minutes of life experience she'll always depend on you for. xD Psychology is so interesting! I'm taking philosophy right now, which is similar. I took psych in highschool but my teacher was such a bore. Plus, it was highschool :P. I want to take it again someday. I also want to learn to sign language! You know what, a very close family member suggested I try to learn something new. Sort of like a "New City=New Adventures" type of thing. Something I've maybe had interest in, but never got much knowledge of. You just gave me the perfect idea for it, since I've always wanted to learn sign language. =) Now I just need to go about learning how to go about learning it... >.< there's a Sign Language for Dummies book, right? Though I'm pretty sure hand to hand help would be more efficient, no pun intended :roll: Well, it's a work in progress and I just passed GO!

LOL! Yeah it does.. I know sign language since I was about maybe five.. But I speak normally. I only sign if needed like for some of my hearing impaired friends. Most of the time I would just talk.. but it's hard sometimes on how a person speak.. at times lazy.. or no facial expression to go with.. Which is best if you're expressive when learning to sign since it's essential for us hearing impaired people. If you're emotionaless.. it's a no go.. LOL we are also blunt.. and right up front.. Yeah books are good but best to learn from someone who are fluent and hang around people who uses the language. In that way you can learn rather quickly than rather by the book. :lol: I'm "spunkeh" too.. Hehe.. *shifty eyes* x3
Yeah me and my sis are very close friends.. we know each other inside out. We never had any brothers but we have our father who tends to act like one at times.. xD If you got any questions... ask me away okay? I'll be more than happy to answer them for you.

I remember someone once told me that infants will learn to communicate with their hands sooner than with speech. That it gets their brain working earlier on. That just reminded me of that, even though you were 5 and not an infant, you were still young. I just always believed you shouldn't keep a child sheltered from things that are "too complicated for them", and instead it's better to try and explain life as it is because I believe children are SO much smarter than we give them credit for. Course I don't have a kid, haven't had much experience beyond babysitting, and my only sibling is a brother who is two years older than me. Haha so maybe I haven't a well based position on the subject.... Anyway that's so awesome! I always wanted a sister. I love my brother, but there was a definite gap that sort of felt like a generation gap even though it was only two years. Anyway you're right about the classes. Course, I barely know anyone who speaks english here let alone sign language haha! They're here somewhere, I just need to find that nifty treasure map... -digs around-

That's really cool, must have been interesting. Were all the kids hard of hearing as well? I guess you can read lips pretty well then.
Yeah it's, different. When he's was in his last year of elementary, I was just getting the do's and don'ts of it. Finally when I did get to junior high, he was on his last year of that too and going to highschool. Kind of like a race I could never win. And he'd never be there when I got picked on either. No matter though, cause it wasn't his fault =) I think I prefer him older because maturity wise we get along great since I act like a grown up most of the time, and he acts like a child with grownup intelligence :P
