So, since I have no idea what else to say other than to start describing myself (which would take up too much of my time, especially since I'm supposed to be doing my homewor right now.) I'll just simply say how I learned of this site.

Yesterday at Momo Con, I was ditched in the dealers room by my friend who went to buy a T-shirt. I saw a table near the T-shirt table thingy and saw really cool drawings and then someone started talking to some other people about a new website better than Gaia (me being a person who made a Gaia and got bored with it easeddropped on the conversation, which really wasn't easedropping, it was mearly "listening").
The lady said something about free T-shirt for the avatar, they people listening to her starting writing down their emails, I kept flipping through the book with the pretty pictures and then grabbed a pen and wrote my email down too :)
So then this morning when I was about to start my homework I got on the computer and the rest is pretty much my day. lol

yeah, so thats it.
All I have to say now is lets be friends :)

How was MomoCon? I wish they'd do more local Cons up here in MI. We took the kids to one last year and they loved it. They've been talking how they want to cosplay for next years. Isn't that cute? <3

It is great to see more newbies coming in from MomoCon. I wish I had the opportunity to be there, but hopefully next time around I will have the chance.
I myself am a former Gaian user. In fact, I was one of those "2003ers". However, I quit Gaia almost two years ago in favor of Menewsha after a friend on there introduced me to this community oriented site. I have loved it here since then and I am glad of all the changes I have seen come to the site since then and look forward to more great improvements to come.
I am really excited to see what kind of users that the conventions Menewsha staff members go to will bring to the site and I hope to see you around.

Momocon really did a lot of good promotion! I have a feeling I'll be welcoming a lot of new members today :) Yay! Your story is pretty cute since I can imagine being in your shoes and just ding what you did to join this webbie. I didn't even know about the free t-shirt O.o But anyways, I'm all the way from the other side of the world so attending the convention would have been impossible to me. Anyways, I'm glad you managed to put together an interesting story for your introduction :) It's definitely something we can remember you by! Reading long lengthy introductions is much better than the 'Hi, I'm new' post ^^" I'm not from Gaia so I wouldn't know how to compare but I have heard some stories about the site but I will still remain neutral. Though, I have to agree this site is really great and the members here are really a lot friendlier than a lot of other online communities.

Well, anyhow, I really do hope that you have a great time here and decide to stay with us for awhile and realize that Menewsha is somewhere you'd like to spend a lot of your time at. Post lots and play those games for some gold to make your avatar pretty with some of the cool items here! Welcome to Menewsha and enjoy yourself here! :)

MomoCon was really fun atashi83! Even though it was kinda cold, raining, and hot all at the same time, if was quite fun watching my friends shiver next to me as I walked calmly outside to the next building with my umbrella. (muahaha! thats what they get for ditching me for 30 mins in a hot smelly dealers room) and I bet your id would look EXTREMELY cute in cosplay (even though I have no idea what they look like, kids in cosplay are just cute in general lol)!

No way! typing too much is never an issue here! :) You are always welcomed to type as much as you can and since we get more information about you and you can earn gold from your post, its a win-win situation :)

The gold will flood in pretty quickly as long as you stay active and also there might be a St. Patrick's day event coming up in two days so look forward to that as well. Freebies might be given out as event items and also some of the new commons might be half priced. At least, that was what happened for the last event ^^" I hope something similar will happen too!

Whenever I looked at my avatar I felt cold...especially since its been raining all weekend and today, so it made me image myself outside in my undies in the rain...not a fun mental image, especially when suddenly the whole school showed up and pointed and laughed as I somehow go a mike and starting singing, "I'm singing in the Rain" O.o LOL!
