Hello all, my name is Shiro. I am 20 years old and currently attend the Art Institute of Atlanta to pursue a career in Animation. I am starting my second year on April 6th. I live in Atlanta, GA with my girlfriend and 3 other room mates.

I came to Menewsha after hearing about it at Momocon. I have been on here for about 20 minutes. Unfortunately I fear that I may not spend a lot of time here because I used to have a Gaia Online account and it hasn't seen me for months.

I enjoy to role play and am always looking for new people to do it with. I prefer Paragraph IM RP, but am always up for playing-- no matter what your style. You can reach me on AIM at ShiroChaan.

I love anime and video games but am hesitant to refer to myself as an "Otaku"

My favorite types of music are techno, candy pop, j-rock, metal, alternative, and whatever category Imogen Heap is in... I also tend to like bands that are labeled "emo" although I would never consider myself "emo" (My Chemical Romance / MGMT)

I have a website called "Chromatose" in the works that will link to all of my internet based operations and will post the link here as soon as I get it published....

But anyways, it is 3:00 am here and I have to get up for school at 10! I look forward to meeting all of you!

Hello there ShiroChaan!

Yet another member who joined because of Momocon! Great to see that it attracted some new members :) I'm nowhere near the states so there was no way I could have attended ^^" But I'm sure it was a really fun event! Anime conventions are always fun! I too like anime and certain video games but like you, I really dislike being referred to as an otaku. It doesn't exactly paint a good picture of a person. I just like to be someone who is interested in anime, though manga really isn't my thing ^^". I am generally really into the Japanese entertainment scene liking idols, anime, doramas, movies and their TV shows. I sometimes even find myself watching their commercials! But really they have a unique way of entertainment and even their commercials can be extra weird and funny!

Anyways, I do hope that you find yourself spending a lot of time here because this place is really quite addictive. Its similar to Gaia but I have a feeling its really much better, though I haven't exactly been on any other avatar websites :P But its a much smaller community where you pretty much know almost everyone so I hope you decide to stay for awhile. Welcome to Menewsha! We're a bit smaller than Gaia, so it's pretty easy to become a bit more involved than you may initially expect!

animation must be fun. probably a lot of work though. I have a friend who is majoring in it and she has to spend so much time on her animation projects.

You might find that this place is very addicting and grows on you...I for one am always excited about making that gold for the next shop purchase...even more important though, is it's a very active community with friendly members and it's so easy to jump right into the conversation. :)

Haha, well I will try my hardest to not let my RP become inactive.

I would prefer original characters only, but there is a guy in there that is playing as Link from the Zelda series... I only let him in because of the lack of interest.

My character is a girl whose name I recently changed. I really need to get used to her. The name makes more sense than her old one >_>
