Hii. I'm Marionette Fantasia, aka Mari(e)... NOT Mario, even though I AM male.
I'm a uni student in Australia studying Education.
I play Neopets still :angel:
I used to play Gaia, but people there weren't very nice to me, especially my friends, so I went to look for another place to procrastinate.

Apparently, my avatar lives in a potato sack. How unfortunate.

A lot of us are from Gaia. We all quit for various reasons though. I personally quit just to get a new start. Yes, you do look like a potato sack. Play some games and it will quickly remedy this situation! You shouldn't have anyone be mean to you here, unless you get into an argument over a discussion or something, but I've been here 13 day's and I haven't had a SINGLE problem.

We all start off naked when we come, but give it a little patience and you'll rack up some money and be able to pick out a snazzy outfit. For the time being I know there is a charity to clothe naked newbies in the charity thread, so I would strongly recommend heading over there.

I still play neopets too! I've had my account for 6 and a half years, however I just play off and on when the mood strikes me. :)

Hey there! I'm a Gaia reject as well. The people here at Mene are much nicer, don't worry. :]
I randomly go back and forth to Neopets still, but I haven't been in about a year. Maybe I'll go see if I can remember this accounts password at some point. :P

I lived in a potato sack for a little while too, but I got some help from some really nice people. Just post around and chat and you'll definitely get yourself an outfit. The games are a quick way to get some gold too. :]

Awww I wouldn't feel too awkward - that's what the charity is for! But even if you don't, there are some really cheap pieces in Hot Topics to start you off and I found in a matter of no time I was starting to accumulate some money. ^^

It really sucks that at Gaia, even your friends weren't nice to you O.O I mean if it were other people that would be normal but your friends? That's really sad and it kind of makes me angry thinking about it. I really do hope that you find yourself some great friends here and have the time of your life procrastinating here! XD There's a lot of things to do here, somewhat similar to Gaia without the MMORPG but the people here are much better I think. I don't recall anyone being mean or emitting any negative vibes around here and even if there were, the staff members are always on it! They are a very dependable bunch of people!

You're studying education? That's really cool! To be able to learn how to educate people is a very interesting career to pursue I feel. I'm taking up economics and management in the Monash University branch over here in Malaysia. Its not really my cup of tea but I'm surviving ^^"

Anyways, I hope you have a really fun time here and you enjoy it much better than Gaia. About the potato sack?
