Introduction
Hello, I'm Zi-Zi. I'm 21 y/o and live in the great state of Texas. Currently I'm attending school, majoring in Fibers (textiles). I live with my dog Annie and own a horse named Danny Boy. Some of my hobbies include drawing, weaving, riding, reading, and general craftiness. I love making things and my apartment is in a constant state of disarray because of this. Sometimes I wonder how my dog and I get around. I have a small equine portrait photography business, shown here. I love anything and everything that has to do with horses and am frequently combining my love of the animal with my love of art. |
Hello Zi-Zi! Welcome to mene!
I also love horses, they were my life when I was younger.. Unfortunately It became to expensive here so I had to give horse riding up.. I'll go back to it in the future though, I think. xD If you need any help round the site, feel free to PM me! Hope to see you as an active member. ;D |
Uwah! I wish I had a horse too. >.<
I'm hoping to join the dressage club in college, though, so at least I'll get to ride them, right...? Anyhow, welcome to Menewsha! Feel free to ask me as many questions as you need to! |
Thanks you two! I love my little guy to death, and we compete in dressage, Annette! Schooling 2/3rd level currently.
I'm hoping to become more active once exams are over and I have all my finals pieces for my studio classes finished, x_x |
Ah, the dreaded exams. I have friends who do dressage and I always wanted to as well, but never had a horse. >.< Hopefully I'll be able to fix that problem by/during college. (Maybe if I get a scholarship my parents will get me a horse and a cello...)

It's kind of funny, Danny isn't exactly "mine" yet. I rode him for his owner while I was in high school. When I went off to college out of state my first semester, his owner decided that they weren't a good fit. So she decided to sell him. Unfortunately, he dumped every person that came out to try him. We still tried to promote him when I came back to Texas; taking him to shows and clinics. Until one clinician, asked why I didn't buy him as it was obvious that we worked well together.
The deal I have with my parents is that they will buy me a horse as a college graduation present, so Danny is on a "lease-to-own" program until I graduate. But according to his owner (whom I'm still very close friends with), Danny was mine the moment I sat my butt in the saddle. |
Tis such a pretty horse too~ You're a very lucky person. Now if the rental guy would just say that about my precious Frank... =.=;; (Frank is a cello, not a horse.) My grandma had a horse way back when, but I don't even remember it. All my friends have horses, though. I think 'randa has two or something like that... but she's from one of those families that are all gung-ho about horses and that kind of stuff. I'm form a science-music family, so it's hard enough to get my mother to accept that I'm going to get an MFA, not a PhD. I don't wanna be a pretty helpless dork...
But once I start getting money off my novels, I'm putting some aside for a horse. >.< I would have loved Abby because she was just awesome, but she totally dropped off the map. A horse like her would be great, though. |
