As for the gold cap, there's actually a lot of discussion about that over in site feedback. But basically if you don't have a gold cap, then inflation will only increased faster.. which you definitely want to avoid. Also Mene wants to encourage interaction. :) You're on an avatar forum with so much awesome discussion, which will get you gold faster than games if you join in.
