okay, i'm really from missouri, but its close enough.
anyway i'm Batty. i'm a big fan of avatar sites and i came from Gaia. i type like a lazy person whenever i'm writing casually ( lol (: ) but i take it super duper seriously to the point of perfection when it comes to roleplaying or writing or something. both of which i do a lot. as me for my fictionpress. you'd love it.
seriously. you'd doubt me the same person if you saw my usual work. (i'm just evil like that. can ya dig it?) ummmm...what else is there?
i like dogs, peanut butter, reading, texting, photography, more dogs (i want to be a breeder one day) and some other stuff i don't feel like telling you about.
...okay i'm rambling so i'm gonna stop now (before your head explodes or something) but keep in touch. i don't have any friends here or anything and i'd like some otherwise i'm just gonna wind up not doing anything and vanishing. once again sorry for the lazy writing. i just have better things to do than hit the shift button. How long were you on gaia? What did you like the best about it?

i...didn't like Gaia that much. i liked the conecpt though and i think this place took what was possible there and made it into something? i don't know...i feel like i'm rambling. basically i liked the idea of Gaia but not the people. the only reason i joined another avvy site was because my friend talked me into it. i'm hoping this can change my mind though.

Well, what do you look for out of an avatar site?

i don't entirely know. i just always expected a certain kind of...community i guess? a sort of togetherness that gaia didn't have. maybe it was all the people or maybe they just felt sort of money grubbing to me...this place feels kinda different. in a good way.

Well, I know this place is a great community. So many places you can go to hang out and chat. What kind of things interest you? Discussions on random topics? Discussions on political beliefs (Debates). Do you like to draw? There is a place here where you can show off art and discuss it. There is a small economy on here too where you can go buy and sell items to try and earn your way up to more expensive limited items.
I am an exchange person myself. Though, I love to go over to Menewshan Nations and see whats going on with all the guys in their hangouts.

Here is the link to Kale's Starter Guide for new people. It goes fairly in depth to avatar sites. Then you have Ferra's Gold earning guide she brought out so people have an idea of all the ways to earn gold on here. =)


Edit:: Also, almost forgot there is Jellysundae's Frequently Asked Questions. She really likes to push that link out. XD

i'm normally into writing and roleplaying...and politics. okay so it's debates in general. i have a lot of interests really. lol. you can pretty much stick me with anything you mentioned and i would be interested even though i don't have an artistic bone in my body when it comes to drawing.

Well, then you will love the pretty much everywhere on this site. XD There are all kinds of forums and subforums for roleplaying. You can set up a private one on one roleplay. Or you can roleplay with groups of people. =) I am sure you will find somewhere to call 'Home.' =) I can almost guarantee you will get addicted to this site.

There is a forum also at the bottom of the main forum list. Literature spot. You can put writings in there. Debates is also under General Discussion under a subforum. =)
