Welcome to Mene, Aamira! While at first it may seem difficult to earn gold on here, it gets better. We actually want users to earn their gold by engaging in the community and such. You can get up to 20 gold per post, so the longer the post, the better. Also, you can play games in the arcade and get up to 500 gold per day. It's really not bad. And the good thing is, there isn't massive crazy inflation, like how Gaia has items that are worth millions. ;D

I think that Gaia and Mene each have their own good points. I personally still maintain accounts on both.. as well as many other people here. It's do-able and I think Mene has a great close-knit community. :) I hope you have fun here and come to love it as much as we all do!
