Hi I'm Zak and I am new here... yeah. I'm not going to be the only guy around here am I? Seems to be a problem with forums. =p

Um... let's see. I'm 23 and majoring in Biology. I live in Seward's Icebox (aka Alaska). I like the outdoors, and reading, and playing tabletop RPGs. Um, shoot?

So you aren't entirely alone. But yes, communities like this do tend to be dominated by females.

AH, Biology. How I loved that class. Up until the pig. But that was ok still. How's the weather up there? And is Seward's Icebox a common name for Alaska? Never heard of it before.

@Hatake Ayumi ;; Awesome. =D I don't really mind being out numbered though, it comes with the actually being interested in talking I guess. Seward's Icebox is somewhat common, if you're a nerd who paid attention in Alaska Studies (we have to take it, blah). It was a nickname that the state got when Seward bought it from the Russians. That and Seward's Folly. The weather here is pretty blah right now. We've had clouds and rain for the past week, but before that it was about eighty.

@Goblin Maiden ;; I want to be a wildlife biologist actually. So research. I plan on living in the middle of no where with just my laptop as often as possible. =p

Oh, because I don't remember it being called that in my classes. Just talked about Seward's Folly and, of course, Dear Mr. Seward.

Girls are good for the most part. *blatant sucking up* Lol, no I have a couple of good female friends, but I have to say that I couldn't live without gaming night with the boys.

Cripes. It was 82 degrees here and I was sweating my skin off... Question: Is that the USUAL summer weather?

Oh, you can't HONESTLY say that a female's attraction to drama and cat fights and mood swings are amazing to experience.

Woo another bio person. :) I graduated with a BS in ecology and I'm off for my Ph.D in bio in the fall now. I wanna do more marine ecology work rather than straight wildlife though. I'd love to visit Alaska sometime. I know someone who went and the pictures were amazing.

I'd be unreasonable. XD.. Im stubborn and bull headed and playing tag with a friend through the forums.. hmm wonde rif he'll find me here or gone by the time he gets here.. hehe.. umm lets see.. Never even HEARD of Alaska by any other name..thena gain I didn't get into My Social Studys and my SC Teacher did let me get away with murder.. I was always ahead of hte class so i spent most of the tim eonline..working on OTHER homework 'sigh' i hate homework. so glad to be outa school and Im 26 though dun expect me to act it.. ever.. XD.. Im a kid at heart and will alwasy be 'i aint ever growing up'

XD Nah - hardly the only male here (as has been said a lot by now >_> ), though it feels like it sometimes, depending on where you post. XD

The site's owner (Insomniac) is a guy, so are a few of the people on staff (though since many of even the staff use an opposite-gender avatar, it'd be hard to tell without looking at their posts), several former-staff-current-users... Both of our former owners were male, come to think of it. And then scattered around the masses are guys of varying types of masculinity. XD

I mostly just wanted to say that because I didn't want you to feel from the responses that your fellow male was quite as scarce as it seems at first. XD

I would like to challenge the idea that only females cause catfights and have moodswings;) I KNOW I have seen males do that too...I'm just saying:)

I admit I liked bio, but personally am a total anatomy/physiology and neurology geek!
