I was searching around for Avatar Communities to join because I only belong to two others. One is slow.

The other... Well, I think you know that THAT Avatar Community is and all the drama that goes with it.

I think, when it comes to the size of the website, it has a happy medium. Close community, admins which are able to be active, and many posts in an hour.

However, it is not huge and corporate. Like I said, happy medium. :)

Mostly, I like the feel of a forum while being able to have a completely unique look to set you apart. Forums that let you use your own icons are ok, but they are less personal than Avatars that you customize yourself.

We probably have one of the strongest layering systems out of any avatar forum site, so it should be easy (and get easier as time passes) to get an utterly unique avatar. :)
