Hi i'm new...
I think this site has a really confusing layout > < or it's probably just that i don't get it. And is there anyway to see all the hairstyles in one go, it's such a pain to look through them all. :(
Anyway, i'm going to give this site a chance, the characters look really cute. :)

Welcome to Menewsha!
There is a place you can see all the hairstyles on Menewsha in one go:
http://www.menewsha.com/forum/gaming...-clicking.html
Hope that helps. :)
If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. We're happy to help here. :)

Oh thanks, that's really helpful! :) So much better than going through all 30 or so of the hairstyles and saving each one to see how they look. :S

Haha, Anything is quite vague and general. Anything in specific? Shops, marketplace, hangouts?

Well we have a guide explaining some of the basics like changing your settings and exploring the site features that might be helpful: http://www.menewsha.com/forum/main/i...-handbook.html
It doesn't cover quite everything since it's a little outdated, but if you have any specific questions I'm happy to help. :)

Well, the NPC shops, or what ever you want to call them, The SITE run shops have a helpful tab up on the top right. Then click Complete shop list for easy navigation. The user market place is in the Exchange forum. Each thread is a shop, and you can post offers in the thread.
Hang outs are in the general discussion, "Menewsha Nation" (I believe it is called).

@Hayate: thank you so much :] and what's the difference between buying from a site run store and buying from another person in the user marketplace?
@Ferra: The gold earning thread looks good :P Although i must be really bad at games because i get about 3 gold from each game :( Lol.

Well site-run stores only sell "commons", which are items that are permanently available in shops. User-run threads sell commons too sometimes, usually for a price cheaper than the shops, but you can only buy them if you can find a seller.
Also, user-run threads in the Exchange sell limited edition items, like monthly contribution items (CIs) or event items (EIs). Those items cannot be purchase in regular stores.
I'm bad at the games too, but keep at it! You earn gold by posting as well, so even if you don't like playing games you can still earn gold by being active. :)

The site run stores sell commons and there is an Event store for Event commons during, GASP, events.
xD
The user market place rarely sells commons, and that is where you can find and buy old event items (which are different from event commons) and old CIs (contribution items) that you cannot find anywhere else, I believe.
Ahhh, ninja'd by Ferra....

Oh.. Well i think i get it now. So it would be more beneficial to go to the exchange to pick up an item that is also sold in stores.. so that you can get the item at a hopefully cheaper price?
Thank you, by the way.
The world now seems much less confusing xP
edit: Oh, i was also wondering why there seems to be fractions of gold..

Yes, but, if you look at it at an economic standpoint, by buying from an actual store, the gold is taken out of the community and thus slows down inflation.
=)
That's what older users are here for.

If you can find a seller, then it's definitely cheaper to pick up an item from the exchange. But since we have so many commons, it's not always easy to find what you're looking for. Just keep a look out or make your own buying thread and you'll probably find a seller eventually.
I'm happy to help! You're welcome to PM me or another staff member if you have any more questions.

Oohh... But from a user standpoint, you'd want to get the cheaper price.. Even though buying from stores would probably be better in the long run to reduce inflation. :P
And do you think new games will be added soon?
I would love to play bejeweled. :P it's such an awesome, classic game. :]

I can't speak on how "soon" anything will happen, but I hope we'll get more variety eventually. I know users have requested games similar to bejeweled, but we'll have to wait and see. ;)

You can also add people as friends to help you remember. :3 Go to your "My Account" page and click "Contacts & Friends". Here's an excerpt from the old guide explaining the rest:
Quote:
|
Contacts & Friends: To add a friend, first enter their username and click on "Add Friend". This will send a friendship request to them to accept/deny. Alternately you can click on "Add contact" to simply add them as a contact but not add them to your friends list.
|
You can also click the button at the bottom of people's posts and it'll do the same thing.
