I'm a newbie too, I've only been here for a few days, and look how stuff I have already! All thanks to the incredible users on this site and the very entertaining games that they have here!
Trust me, you will like this site A LOT for than Gaia, because it's MUCH more user friendly.
Here's a few tips to get you started.
-When posting in the forums, if your posts are longer and have proper spelling and grammar, you get more gold for posting! Neat, huh? So always be up with that grammar!
-No double posting. A lot of newbies seem to do his, so I'm just giving you a friendly reminder.
-Read all the stickies on the Newbie forum, they will help you a lot, trust me!

And most importantly, have fun! PM me with any questions, even if I'm new, I know quite a lot about the site already. :P
