It seems a bit strict here, but hey, no one posting bumps just means we'll get to know each other better, right?

Speaking of which, I should probably introduce myself. The name's Icy Samba. My favorite nicknames are Icy, Sam, and Baby, but you can call me whatever you like, so long as it isn't derogatory.

I like taking walks, reading, writing, drawing, rollerblading, and occasionally annoying my little brother. I'm one of those annoying people who can get along with just about anybody. Heh. However, if you act like a jerk (i.e. racist, homophobic, acting like someone's lower than you because of your/their religion, etc.), I WILL get on your case. You are entitled to your opinion, but please, unless it's somehow relevant to the conversation and you can express it in a decent manner, keep it to yourself.

I'm a small-town girl and a devout Christian, but please don't assume that I'm uber-conservative or stuck up or holier-than-thou or unwilling to change my opinion on anything and everything. I'm sick of that stereotype. I'll try not to assume things about you if you try not to assume them about me, 'kay? Thanks.

It does seem strict at first until you spend some time in the community and realize how "clean" it is. You don't have to wade hip-deep through bumps and double-posts to find content. No spam or porn running rampant and unchecked; etc. The community is much closer that way. :3

@CK: Heh, seems like it. That's the first time I've ever had an admin for anything post on any of my threads, let alone a newbie introduction thread. Awesome.

No porn is nice. Once I ran into this big long thread of pedophile Santa porn. I tried to report it, and my computer froze. I had to restart it manually. I almost puked.

I sometimes lurk around for violators and report them when I have nothing better to do, so if you guys start having problems (I hope not, but even the strictest sites sometimes do) tell me where they hide, and I shall release the whole of my violation-reporting fury on them. XD And don't be surprised if you see a report from me. Fair warning.

THIS. YES!! You have no idea how much nicer it is. Or, well, I suppose you'll see eventually. But yeah, without the spam and all the bumping, people are forced to have.. *gasp* ... actual conversation. And it is wonderful. xD
