As for cheap clothes - in Hot Gossip, there's a ragged shirt for 30 gold. Or you can save a little bit longer and get something a bit nicer from 52 or Hot Gossip. :3 Just be sure to click the "Complete Shops List" and not use the picture-map - the picture-map doesn't have all the stores on it. :)

Haha, don't worry about running around in your undies. xD Like CK mentioned, everyone on Mene does that (herself and myself included). I think I was in my underwear for about a month due to being a shy poster and working my tail off for one of my earlier CI sets, but it made my first outfit that much more special. Then again, we still have some older users who will run around in their underwear if they can't think of something to wear, so it's all good.

If you're looking for cheap, basic items I'd suggest going into Hot Gossip like CK mentioned or into the store 52. ^^ Most of the things in there don't take that long to earn so you're at least covered. You can also download the MAC (Menewsha Avatar Creator) to make up a dream avi to work toward, it's in a sticky in the Avatar Chat forum.

Welcome to Menewsha! We don't have a newbie starter set here because we feel that users should work for their gold and their outfits. C: It's a bit strange at first, but it's a nice mentality and makes for a better community. Like has been recommended, 52 and Hot Gossip have some pretty cheap stuff for those just starting out, but you can always save up your gold, too, and buy something more expensive! Our marketplace is the Menewshan Exchange, which is a little different than Gaia's marketplace. We don't have an automatic shopfront, like Gaia does, but threads run by each user who desires to sell or buy something.
