Hello everyone. The name's Star and I came to this site under request from my friend. I came here mainly to get away from the drama on Gaia. Yep that's right, I have a Gaia, and let me tell you I'm expecting a bit more out of this site roleplay wise. Gaia's fourms have pretty much gone down hill and there isn't really anyone that posts decent lengthed replys. Not to mention the people, there were a few people on the site that enjoyed pestering my friends as well as myself. I'm so glad to have found a way to get away form them. I honestly can't wait to get the hang of this site and start roleplaying. :3

I agree with you about Gaia, I (personally) think this site is much better, mostly because there aren't people cussing every 2 minutes. *Welcome you to Menewsha* Hopes you to have fun!

Well welcome to Menewsha! I personally can't say if the Role Play thread here is good or not since I've barely ventured into them myself. But that's the beauty of options. If you can't find what your looking for in a thread, make one. Also read the rules since they're different from gaia. Like you get in trouble for double posting and bumping here. ^w^

The cussing is somthing I agree with you on. The main thing that upset me though was the forums. Most of them weren't all the well thought out, nor did they have many people in them that could truely write. The ones that required you to be literate died most often because people wouldn't join them and stay. D: But I'm sure I'll have more fun here. :3

Try looking into Private Role Plays, those people tend to be extremely dedicated. ^^

I'm personally coming in with no expectations. I did like Gaia quite a bit, and if you looked, it was pretty easy to find literates.
I did, anyway. Maybe I'm just lucky.
In any case, I wish you luck with your finding of the literates and whatnot.

I, myself, will probably end up making a thread because I find it fun to make stories. (Which is why I love roleplaying so much xD ) But yes. I did read the rules and they are a bit more strict compared to Gaia's rules, but I honestly think that's an imporvement. xD

I agree. A lot of people get away with way too much on Gaia. But hey if you make a role play thread let me know. I'm a pretty dedicateed player and as literate as I can be.

Thank you for the advice :3 I'm really exicted about joining this site, it looks interesting and the style is way different from Gaia.

Well its good that your excited, you also joined at a good time seeing as an event is to be started soon. It is different than gaia, which is what I think is better. :3

(Not hating on Gaia as I use to use it (I just quite two days again because it became too commercial) )

They do. A lot of the time the people who get introuble don't even do anything all that bad, which I find rather irritating. The mods there didn't even keep a good eye on the forums. Some of the roleplays I've joined have gotten pretty bad and not one of the people got introuble. =.= I will let you know if I create anything though :3

I could find them, but they didn't stay with one certain thread. I don't have a problem with being a part of more than one roleplay, but most of the people would just ditch the one they were in for another. I like Gaia, but there were people like stalking me and a group of my firends so we thought we'd find a site that was somewhat similar. That way we wouldn't have to deal with the drama.

There are so many rp's out there that the people should be banned and the thread deleted. And yay. I'm looking forward to it. <3

I havn't quiet quit Gaia yet because I have a thread that's still moving on there. But I'm going to mainly be here now. (I hope) The reason I left was because of a few people that I know in real life who were pretty much stalking my friends and I. It was rather bothersom so we dicided to try somthing new. And so far I really like the way this site looks. :3

That's so true. It's irritating how people get away with that so easily but people get introuble for their signature being to big. I, personally thing that the contents in the threads are a bit more improtent than the size of ones sig. -.-

Or what really annoys me is page stretching. -_- It totally throws me off when I make a really big post and I have to scroll forever to the right just to see it in the forum because someone posted a gigantic picture in the thread and couldn't be considerate enough to make it a link.

Ugh this thread is making me crave fried chicken. TwT lol.

Oh I know right! I don't mind a little picture to make the post pretty, but the ones that make you have to scroll kind of irritate me. I use pictures of my rpc sometimes when the rules tell me to. (Or when I'm just not lazy and want my post to look good xD ) But I keep them pretty small.
