ok, so hi everyone! I am of course, new to this whole menewsha thing. i must say that the idea that talking in actual sentences is quite refreshing. i've never really caught on to all the text talk and i could never understand leet speak or what ever it is. so much so that when i saw 1337 on a post somewhere i actually read it out loud as thirteen thirty-seven. my friend of course laughed at me, but whatever. its not my fault that the kids of today have come up with even crazier ways to talk than my generation did. wow! i sound old saying that. i guess i'm older than some. i'm 29. so whatever. :cool:

Hi, Welcome to Menewsha! I think you'll like it here, as we have a lot of older users and have rules to try to encourage talking:) You may want to look in the "Menewsha Nations" as we have several over 18 chat threads in there, including "Old Farts".

ow. thanks a lot. lol sounds like my kinda of place! and i really do like that talking is encouraged, at least for times when i feel like talking. otherwise i'll go on gaia and bump my old bump thread. lol

@striped socks -- yeah. i like sentences too. makes me feel like my brain is actually working instead of turning into mush.

wow. this is going to take some getting used to. the whole no double posting. i didn't realize exactly what it meant. its weird when i've been so used to bump threads on gaia. i'd get upset if i couldn't post again. waiting that minute was sometimes so frustrating when i would get in a heated debate over one thing or another with someone. that is until i got bored of arguing with people who only wanted to argue to be doing it. they had no real stand point on the issue or whatever and were just being "dumb". now i get it.. i think. still gonna be weird.


ok. so i really don't get this. i'm not really sure about this whole double posting thing. i like to talk. a lot. and the idea that it will all be in one post. is kinda crazy.. so yeah. its just weird. and there are so many rules. so many rules. no this, no that. and don't even think about that. not really sure if i'm gonna hang around much. and i also don't like the fact that i gotta run around in my bra and panties because i can't afford clothes! at least on gaia i got clothes when i signed up.
