Hello everybody. My name is Eriyu, and it's quite a pleasure to meet you all.

To be perfectly frank, I'm not sure if I'll be spending much time here... I'm a Gaian at heart, but I thought I'd give this place a shot. I must say, it does look rather nice so far, though I'm only beginning to explore. :)

Hi Eriyu, welcome to Menewsha:) I don't know other avatar sites, but from what I have been told, we run things a little differently...You earn gold from posting (we don't allow spam) and from games:) If you have any questions, we have stickeys or you can just ask. We're a pretty friendly group:)

welcome! i just came over from gaia as well. this place may not have as many features, but the people are friendly. i hope you decide to stick around. i could see this place being pretty great with a few new features.

I also come from gaia and I can say that the staff on this site are much more people involved than gaia.
Which I think is a good thing.

Haha, I could never leave Gaia behind; I've been on there since '03 and I love my guild way too much, but it's really nice to be somewhere where everyone actually adds something to the conversation. It's like, I didn't know that was possible on the Internet. :shock:

:) I know tons of people who go on both sites all the time. I was totally shocked when I came here too since I didn't think it was possible. But.. here we are!

haha i think we're all just sharing the same interest in avatar-based forum like gaia and here. it's just great to meet, discuss and talk about the same thing together although we didn't really know each other =D

I too came from Gaia before now. My beloved kitten led me here however, and I will admit two things that make this place rock in spades. A) The community is far more literate and waaay more interesting as a whole B) Bartuc. He's a moderator and he rocks. All of the staff here does. ALL OF THEM. Not like Lanzer, who hired like three cool mods and then joined the failtrain to failville.

Hello and welcome!

You'll find that a lot of us here originated from Gaia a long time ago. Many of us have accounts on various sites, but manage to handle them all just fine. So don't ever feel like you have to abandon your Gaia account for another website. It's just another place to play and have a good time. :)

I came here back in 2007 from Gaia, and this was my first avatar-based forum outside of it. It's actually one of my favorites. Outside of one other, this and Gaia are the only ones that I actually keep active because I love it so much.

If you have any questions, there's plenty of helpful people here that can explain things too you.
