late night boredom
 

it's late and i can't sleep, so i figured this might be agreat time to introduce myself. my name is allison and I'm 21 years old. i have a 10 month old daughter named Scarlett and a fiance named Justin. i play synthesizers, sing, draw, and take pictures. i absolutely love anime/manga, animals, body modification, and art of all mediums. I'm really into politics and love a good debate. i think being informed is very important. i'm a very nice person to everyone, even if they don't deserve it. i hope to get to know everyone in the forums here.

yeah, i played snake and tetris earlier. they're great classics that i'll never get tired of. i would like to see some games that are maybe more like menewsha themed adaptations of games though. that wouldn't make a difference in gameplay, but it would be cute. i like this site so far. i don't think you can ever have too many places to visit on the net as a stay at home mom.

If you like to draw and have a bit of free time, the art forums are a great place to get some extra gold. You can even just set up a small temporary shop in the event forums to sell small doodles/sketches and build up some cred. :) Have fun!

@az_stars: I'm very familiar with the lolita fashion. I used to dress like that more, but it sticks out too much where I live now. I still dress "weird", but I've toned it down a lot. I don't care if people stare, but I don't really want to attract too much attention. On the west coast it feels like anything goes, but here in VA it's not quite the same. I still do it at home and to certain places, but I don't wear it just anywhere anymore. Oh well.

Oooh what kind of lolita did you dress? I have a few pieces that I wear to meetups and sometimes conventions, but my job/school isn't the sort where you can get away with poofy skirts. (lol science)

@PhantomLolita: Ah same here >_< I'm a gothic/classic/punk lolita, but my parents HATE this fashion. And I live in the suburbs so it really does attract attention. Because of that, I'm currently on a break (plus, private art college = $40,000 a year =/)... but I satisfy my cravings with lolita artwork :3

I don't really choose any particular type, just whatever I'm in the mood for that day. I like to mix it up. When my daughter is older, I think I might make her a few dresses. I just don't want her to get made fun of for it...so I'll let it be her choice whether she wears them or not. lol Ugh...I really hate that people care about what others are wearing.
