I think all of us newbies are having a bit of trouble with that :3 I find the fishing game kind of addicting though..

I think they do that to encourage long conversation. To do make gold based on how much you type. So if you talk a lot, you should be fine. (^_^) Also, the games are a good way to make gold as well.

It really is hard to make money. XD;;

It's really easy to play the fishing game. I didn't know whether to be happy or sad when I got placed as number 911...All you really have to do is try to get the hook on the part where you can catch the fish and know what scores higher. Here's what I know:
TV (500)~~circle where it's been hit
Cat-fish (600)~~mouth
Bunny-fish (800)
Mer-Moo (1200)~~mouth
Rainbow Stingray(?) (1200)~~between the things below where the mouth should be
Manatee(?) (2000)~~mouth (small)
Octopus (2000)
~~~~
Single fish (300)
Double fish (1000)
