Actually, if you add content to an edited post, you gain more for it. Same as if you take away content you lose money. That what your not any more likely to gain gold posting something entirely new~ Its just that if you double post, it may get deleted.

just the same even if i did edit there is no point to it at all..

The point of it is to cut down on spam. If you wanted, you could always add like...a dash between the main thing and the edit if you want, or just say

Edit: Stuff here

well you're still adding on the more posts and i mean it doesn't seem to help or work out wise.. sure it cuts down on spam but if you were to do an rp or something it really wouldn't help.

Have you figured out the double posting thing?

I've merged your double posts on the front page, and you'll notice that your gold didn't change at all.
On Menewsha gold is earned by how much you write instead of how many posts you make. So since each character is worth the same amount of gold, you won't find yourself getting more for making new posts. :3
However if 5 hours have passed, or your thread falls to the second page you're more than welcome to revive it with a double post so long as it stays on topic!
