In other words, hello.
I'm Kyle, kind of obviously, and I was directed here by someone on Gaia, who when we were having a rant about Gaia, suggested here for a literate and friendly place to be. So far, it's making a very good impression. |
Lol, I just got in yesterday here and it was suggested from a friend of Gaia too, but I'm still not liking it that much. Maybe I'm used to gaia......... ALOT.

Well I really like Gaia, I'm WAY addicted to it, so I just came in here cuz I'm in a break from that, lol. And I still don't see what's so great about this site.

I'm afraid you might just be mistaken. Some people here are no less literate than those on Gaia. However, sense the money you get from each and every post depends on the length, that gives us incentive to use some very large words, or just more words than we ever needed in the first place.
as for friendly? There are less spammers here, but that's just because the site isn't as popular as Gaia. Also, it is rather hard to get gold. I recommend the fishing game. (thank goodness for spell check.) |

On a whole, I think we are more literate since the txt spk lovers usually don't follow our rules very well or they get frustrated with the site and end up leaving. Not everyone here has perfect spelling, grammar, and punctuation, but it gets better after you leave Fresh Meat. :lol: Just be sure to give our rules a read. As you may have guessed, they're quite different than Gaia's. |
I did read them, but as with all sites I join, I'm always paranoid I'll forget something.

Ahh, I'm paranoid like that too! I read the rules, look around the site, then go back to read them a few more times to get it straight. xD But it's a good habit. Much better than not reading them at all! Makes it easier for everyone involved.
