@Amicus - Cool. We're similar to some of those other sites, but I think the differences really make us more awesome. For one thing, this place is a community and it's very much about interacting with your fellow Menewshans.

Mhm. I like the community already. I've been hunting around the net for some time for a place that has a good community. The site I used to go to talk to people on added too many rules. My threads were being deleted for stupid reasons on the users were becoming very cruel and hostile. :roll:

Well, we have quite a few rules here, but they're good rules to keep from spamming and stuff. People coming from other places (like Gaia) sometimes find them restrictive, but it really helps to cut down on unnecessary stuff. No flobs (extra images and text) inserted into posts, no double posts or bumps. I like those rules :D

And it is very much a community. You earn more by talking more. So little one word posts earn you next to nothing, whereas longer posts like this where we talk to each other get more gold. You are rewarded for being social and having discussions. It's a good system.
