Hi, I'm Hannah. I joined because one of my friends on GaiaOnline quit to play here, so I made an account. I played a few games and got some gold, but when I looked at the prices of clothes here, OH GOD. It'll take me forever to accumulate enough gold to buy anything there. Overall, I'm not that impressed. Any tips? Yes, I've read the stickies.

Secondly, it looks tough to earn gold at first, but once you get the hang of posting around the forums, and finding a game or two that you're good at, gold making isn't all that bad.
Try it for a bit, and if it isn't your cup of tea, than oh well. I hope you enjoy it here though. (:

My tip is to really get involved. Find some great threads and stick to em. In no time, you'll see that earning gold is quite easy. I've only been on here for three days and can already buy quite a bit of things. I'm still naked though, because I'm saving up. Trust me, it's not as hard as it looks.

Gold really isn't that hard to earn. :)
For example, I use the harbor fishing game to earn most of my gold.
In about two days, I had earned about 750 gold from posting and playing games, and I was able to buy the dress that I was saving up for. (I didn't even play for that much -gasp-) =3
What you really need to do is find a game that you're good at...:)
I was just plain horrible at all the games at the start, but after a couple of tries some games became easier than others.

Welcome to Menewsha, I'm somewhat new, I've only been playing for a few weeks.
A good way to make gold in my opinon, is to play games ^^ Attack of the Fan girls is easy if you know how to play tower defence games - also playing Snake on worm is a really fast way to make gold to. :P
Also posting makes you a nice amount of gold. Its not really hard to make gold, It more rewarding to earn your gold then having it given to you by doing simple things.

I'm nth-ing (don't feel like counting) the "find a game you're good at" sentiment. Personally, I like Attack of the Fangirls, but it can get super laggy if your computer can't handle it. Even though you can only earn 500 gold from games a day, it still adds up if you keep at it. Oh, and at least the underwear here is pretty, versus Gaia's grungy gray stuff? xD Welcome to Menewsha!

Plus, you're allowed to have a second account for playing games and posting, as long as you don't use it to have conversations with yourself for gold.
So if you have the time and patience, you can earn 1000 gold a day, which can buy you almost any shop item.
Getting involved with the community helps too. My only gripe is that with the lack of users, it's tough to post frequently. D;

It all depends on where you post. If I am in the mood to just chill out and chat, I will swing over to Nations and go find a fun hangout thread. =)
