So Yeah, I decided to join this community out of curiosity. Just checking how it compares to Gaia since I have been on there since forever.

Gaia complains about this place Lolz. There are a lot of Gaians here, They were the Master Site. I am no exception---

I can see how this would appeal to a lot of Gaians, it is pretty much the same thing! LOL! However, I think the Avatars are cuter, although the gold system is like how Gaia used to be a couple years ago (which isn't a bad thing because it lowers inflation). :P

I actually like playing gaia sometimes. But i wanted to do something new so i join this lol. I like the avatars on here much more then gaia. They look less childish.

A lot of people like to complain about the similarities of Avatar communities like this, but that's so old. Each site is it's own site and it's almost certain that they take inspiration from each other, but that doesn't mean they're all carbon copies. As you've mentioned, our gold system is different and we don't have as many inflation issues. But also, we have a lot less spam. We're more conversation and community oriented. You don't have a lot of weird forum loyalties and internal debates of GD versus GCD or anything like that. We are one big community and that is what I like about this place over Gaia. :D

I have to agree with you on the spamming. This site is much better on that and I really enjoy the forums here, it is so much easier to actually carry a discussion without the flaming and bumping.
