Hi. I'm Nichi. I'm trying to figure out how to navigate this site. What's girl gotta do to get some cloths around here?

I'm trying to figure out how to earn gold, buy cloths, play games etc. I just got done playing "Tetris".

The best way to earn gold is to post or play games. You have to earn your clothes and other items here. You'll get used to it eventually, lol. The cheapest items are the peasant clothes. You could probably buy a shirt at this point if you wanted to. I'm just saving for a dress. Have been for two weeks. I'm almost there, lol.

I'm working toward a dress as well. The one I want to start off with is 750 gold so I have a ways to go yet. I think in someone elses thread, you said you thought this place is better than Gaia Online. what makes you say that?

On another note....

Sorry to ask, but how do I equip an item?

Go to your inventory and then click on the item. It will/should automatically go on your Avi.
Also, you might want to mosey on over to newbies guide and the site rules once you have the time. There are certain things that mene doesn't allow, like double posting that could get you in trouble if you do it again and again. Mods prefer it if you just edit your last post instead of posting again right after yourself.

But welcome to Menewsha! Hope you like it here. And tetris is one of my favorite games on here.

I don't like the double posting policy because quite frankly, editing your old post doesn't move your topic up in the forums which means if you were being over looked before, you'll still be overlooked. Sometimes I want to ask a question without starting a whole new thread. Honestly, too many threads are a lot messier looking than double posts. Especially if the second post is a whole new subject.

the games give you almost no gold at all.

posting give you a max of 30 gold if it's long enough.

and the cheapest dresses are in the 500 gold range. you know, some of us don't want to wear pants and a shirt. Those are boy cloths.

Tetris is a fun game, but I still prefer to play it on my old gameboy. nothing beets that. And again, none of these games give you much in the way of gold.

On Gaia, with the amount of time I've spent on this site I could have gotten at least 10k in the booty grab game at this point.

I love playing fan girls

Well I've played several games and the payout is so incredably low. I mean it's even lower than on Neopets, Gaia, and Power Pets. I like Fan Girls only because it's a game I don't actively have to play. I can be playing Booty Grab on Gaia and earning thousands of Gold there while passively placing gaurds in fan girls and letting the round run it's course.

I have to say that while I like the avatar customization process and graphic style of menewsha better, the fact that I have to use fire fox 3 in order to equip or un equip anything is a pain in the ass and the lack of features such as guilds and the ability to try on cloths before you buy them makes the site tedious and more of a gamble. I don't see Menewsha taking the place of Gaia for me.

It's a simple thing for me to get anything from any of the Gaia Shops except Dernier Cri because of the game booty grab.

And I have yet to get anything above a 10 gold pay out on any of the games.

And Gaia you at least get a couple of starter outfits so you aren't running around in underwear all over the site. I don't really care for the excuse that in the real world you are born nekkid. I wasn't born with boobs looking like a young woman, which my avatar clearly is. And babies might be born nekkid but they aren't expected to earn their clothing. Their parents are expected to provide it to them for at least the first 18 years of their life. Not necessarily high end clothing, but enough clothing for the sake of decency.
