Hello!

That's cool. What sort of things do you like to write?

Sorry for the short first-post, I had to run a quick errand. Now that I'm back, lets see about adding to it shall we?

Thanks for the question Ren! In answer, most of my work is medieval-aged fictions, My sister is a modern druid and Wiccan so I've learned to see the 'magic' in pretty much everything...as a result my stories tend to be kinda heavily infused with it, as well as creatures that are deemed mythological in the modern world.

As in most (I can't really say ALL) good tales, there is an element or three of love-connections, but those connections are purely secondary in my stories. I try to have an over-all lesson to them..kinda like Fables...just longer.

I also dabble a bit in writing Music, generally of a country nature as that's my favorite genre of music.

I'm definately a beginner artist...my proportions are way off and I need to actually physically see what I want to draw in order for it to get even close. But for other 'crafts' I'm into cross-stitch and recently taught myself to crochet...again, another work in progress...alot of progress...

Umm...I tend to be a cheerful person, for the most part, and am currently once again job hunting to maintain my habit of writing...lol one day I'll be smart and find a higher paying job but for now the part-time ones work well.

oh! And it's currently snowing where I'm at right now...well hailing..but its like little bitty steyrofoam balls sized and actually building up enough for me to call it snow.

Any other questions anyone has please, feel free to ask. I'll give you as honest of an answer as I possibly can. Thanks!

~Aria~

Your writing sounds really interesting. :)

I love to write, but music is not my strong point. I suck at writing songs. It's really cool that you can.

I'm not so great at drawing. I used to do it all the time when I was little, but then I stopped for some reason and never really got back into it, so now I can't really draw all that much anymore. And proportions have always been my biggest problem, which may be strange because from art classes, it seems like most people's problems are with negative space... Anyway, I'm rambling...

I'm not good at crocheting, but I'm okay at knitting. I find it easier.

Wow. Snow already? That's pretty cool. Is it cold there a lot of the time?

They were talking about it snowing up north of me this morning, actually. I can't remember where. I want to say Atlanta, but I know it wasn't that close to me. I wish it would snow here, though. I lurve snow.

Best of luck finding a good paying job, too. Do you have any ideas on stuff you'll pursue?

Well, since I'm in MN (sorry haven't update my bio yet) not really...we're used to cooler temps in October but we generally don't get our first snow fall until around Thanksgiving.

The writing is fun and I do hope to one day publish. I think I need to take a couple of creative writing classes though so that i stop writing run-on sentences...but that's supposed to be what editors are for right??

I could never figure out knitting..though kudos point to you for having accomplished it :D

I took an art class in high school....yeah...didn't really help with my porportions...ah well!

So...what's your favorite thing to do?

Edit:

As for the job...nah, I've got an interview at Subway next week. with luck it'll pan out. Really I'm just looking for something that'll pay for fun extra's while I wait for my paperwork to finish processing with the Air Force. Once I ship out for that (2 month cut off from the world at basic) then I'll have the money to be able to afford the college classes I want/need to get the writing thing going properly.

I took one creative writing class in high school, and I'm planning on taking it while I'm in college, but I have to get the pre-requisite out of the way first... Ughh. But my high school one was basically just like, "Okay... Write something." And then the class read and reviewed it. It wasn't a huge learning thing, more like a trial and error thing. But it was fun to get to read other's writing and find out what they had to say about mine. So, all in all, it was a pretty interesting class.

From what I hear, the college version isn't much different. The teacher just actually cares about HOW you wrote it as well as that you actually wrote something...plus they try to get you to write in different genres...just to see if you like it better. :D
