To subscribe from a thread, you click "Thread Tools" at the top, then Click "Subscribe." It took me awhile to figure it out as well.

And yeah, it's very similar to Gaia at first glance, but when you get used to it you notice the differences, especially in the general intelligence of the people. :'D
