Joining a new website like Menewsha is similar to being born...that first few minutes, you're in a new place, you're confused, and you're naked (and, not to mention, broke).

I just thought I'd introduce myself. My username's Symphonic Trance, but that's a lot to type. Shorten it any way you please. I'm a drummer and an artist. I'm in college studying art and music, and one day, I hope to be in a successful band. I've been in two already that haven't quite worked out. I play a majority of metal and thrash beats, and am a big fan of the double bass pedal >:3 Lars Ulrich is really cool. I also play saxophone :]

Hey there, Symph! I'm in college and I used to study art until I switched majors (though being an art major was undoubtedly rad, and I miss it). While I have no idea what a double bass pedal is, your emoticon next to it tells me it's hardcore. Rock on, my friend, rock on.

And just in case you wanted to know, on the big bass drum of a drum set, there's a pedal that you step on to hit it. Instead of having just one pedal, mine has two, so essentially, the drum's hit twice for a double-pulsing beat, which is fantastic for playing metal.

A double-bass petal sounds epic. I'd love to hear what one sounds like.

To Vamien~ Listen to heavy metal and chances are you'll hear a double bass pedal in action. I'm not in any way a pro artist either. It fills time though, and it makes me happy. Some people do drugs, I simply draw.
