Heya everybody, it's Mr. Postman! I know I have a female avatar, but I'd rather stare at that, than a male one. I'm a Cameko (photographer) for cosplay, ABJD, and Gothic Lolita events. I'll check things out here and see what happens...

Welcome Welcome! I'm new too. Hope you like it here. I know i do so far... althought I dont like that I have to start naked. well in your underwear. now i have to earn enough gold to buy some clothes.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I concur, starting out in your undies is a bit awkward, but Mr. Mayor seems to want to get people posting, so they can earn enough gold for an outfit. I noticed that it even cost money to buy "rags", so I think I'll keep playing the games out here, so I can get myself a nice outfit.

I'm a member on several forums (cosplay.com, Den of Angels, and R/C Tech), but this is my first time out at an artistic community. Being just a photographer, I feel a little like a fish out of water, being amongst all of these artist and writers out here. But I will do my best to fit in here.

I guess it is kinda awkward to start in your undies but hey, you look like your getting a pretty good amount of gold there. And it's fine to feel a little awkward if this is a new experience for you (artistic community...?) you'll warm up to it. I've always wanted to try photography...but I think I'll always be a writer at heart XD

I know that photography is art, but when I see a artist or writer start with a blank piece of paper, tablet, or computer screen, and create something, with only using their imagination, I am in awe. I create art, but I have to have a "subject" in order to do it. That's one of the reasons I started collecting ball-jointed dolls, as they became my "models".

A "Cameko" is just the term the Japanese use to describe an amateur photographer (Came = camera and Ko = child). The term is used a lot in the cosplay community, so that's where I picked in up at. I've been attending cosplay events, for over three years, and really enjoy it. I've been collecting (and photographing) Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls for a little over two years now. The Gothic Lolita scene is a bit more elusive, but I've made friends with a few of them, so I'm very slowly being welcomed into that group as well.

The gold pile comes mostly from the "games" area of Menewsha. I'm doing my best to save Mr. Mayor :mrmayor: from being ravaged by all those crazed fan girls :vicky: , but alas, I've only managed to get to level 17 on that game. I'm saving up my gold for an outfit and shoes, so my avatar will have to be a "free spirit" for a little longer, until I collect enough to get my prized outfit...
