Yay! Messing with people's expectations = also fun. Nobody expects the grumpy goth chick in the leather trenchcoat to squee like a teenage fangirl when presented with someone's dog or cat, much less offer pettings (plunking on the sidewalk if that's what it takes) and coo baby-talk at them about how cute they are.

Oh man I love that guy! I used to watch his show all the time when I was a kid. He's a fellow Seattle-ite, so there's extra nerd worship where I'm concerned.

XDDD My brother and I watched it with our folks. The music videos were hilarious, and some of them still come to mind when I think of the song they're based off.
