Hello, I'm Pristinel. Or Prissy, I guess. I'm not very shy, but nervous around people I don't know for a while. I'm outspoken, honest, and open minded. I'm not judgemental, rude, or lazy. I'm old. I'm in the army. I'm going to iraq soon. I smoke. I drink, but very rarely, and only on nights I fully intend to get sh*tfaced. I have a lot of piercings. I like the color grey. I like to read, do crosswords, and I love my dsi like it has a soul. My best friend is going to be a year old in January, she's a pugpomchi named Moxie.
So...
Hi.

...And I apologize for my nudiness in advance. Will hopefully be rememdied soon. *sheepish grin*

Hello Pristinel! You joined when everyone's still sleeping so no-one's been around to greet you yet, lol. Go kick them all out of bed xD

You sound like a pretty interesting person! I didn't know you could have a lot of piercings in the armed forces, they're where they can't be seen them, yeah?

And I bet you're not as "old" as me xD

I tend to be a bit of a night owl...I'm used to being the only one awake. Makes it hard to converse at times, what with hours going between replies. Yup, I'm old. A whole quarter of a century, and looking at a hip replacement!
Only some of my piercings are hidden. Three out of seventeen, in fact. I'm not allowed them in uniform, but I'm a reservist, so one weekend a month, they come out. And allll of next year while I'm overseas. Boo. I'll miss my lip ring.
Thank you for waking up early...I was lonely!

*starts playing reveille hoping to wake a few others*

Good afternoon! Hope it's not rainy where you are. My pup wouldn't even go out the door.:)
Where the heck in the world (haha...I just had a flash back to the 90s, and carmen sandiego) does anyone under 80 have hip replacements? I'll call it stan. Since it'll be plasticy and all my stoof has names. 38 is NOT old, so I guess I'm not so much then.
I'm loving your pink hair...but I think priorities are a must, and pants are a priority.

Pink hair would distract from the lack of pants though xD And if you went for a longer style, keep your arse warm in the meantime

It's lovely and sunny actually, if I wasn't such a lazy mare I'd have gone outside and bought food. But it will be getting dark by the time I'd got bathed and decent-looking now, so no vitamin D for me today...

*chokes on soda and laughs* So true! I am so doing that.
Aw, well since I have doritos and banana nut muffins, I am so not going out. But since it's all feeling unappreciated that you don't want to enjoy it, thank you for sending some rays my way. My day is feeling brighter already.
Now, to figure out how to get dr pepper out of a laptop keyboard...

xD

My keyboard's full of crumbs <.< >.> I can't turn it upsidedown and shake them out like I used to be able to with my desktop keyboard either, might attack it with a cotton bud, I learnt from bitter experience that taking the keys of a laptop keyboard is not a good move! My F2 key is permanently on a tilt now, not that I care eally as I have no idea what that key is for!

I wonder why you have two random white pixels in your hair...

I had advance warning from my own personal comp tech guy, aka daddy, never ever try to remove the keys. lol
hrm...I didn't notice the pixels til you said it...now I am thinking...
maybe those are the only two spots of my being that didn't filter properly through the grav lift.
Or they got stolen by llamas.
Dunno.

Yes, removing the keys is easy, but putting them back is a huge pain in the you-know-where. :gonk: *has had past experience *

Must be the glitter. Glitter are always the guilty ones. Especially the silver glitter. *nods wisely*

I took my space bar key off and messed up putting it back on, so I ended up withsentenceslikethis...
So I had to force myself to take it off again to try and see what was wrong. Luckily I realised I hadn't put the little metal pokey bits through the holes they were meant to fit into...

I think it must be glitter that's making those holes, lol! This it the base item for the hair, and there's no bits missing as you can see..
Confound you with your pixel-stealing glitter llamas!

Of course, you can change your avatar gender anytime you like. Now if only it's as easy as it is online in real life...o.o;

What are you interested in? You can just click around the different forums and maybe something will catch your eye? :)

I'd suggest the Menewsha Nation, which is located within the General Discussions as a sub-forum, as that's where all the chat threads are and you can meet lots of different people in easy conversations there. ^^

LOL, my sig worked on someone else

I get many a profile comment complaining that I'm making people hungry  I'm not sure where you'd want to head for now, what's your preference? Maybe just wander and dip your toe in several places?

I was going to suggest Nation too, lol. It's a good place to find a variety of conversations. As are the quest and charity forums. You don't need to be questing or seeking charity to just drop by and have a natter.

GD is good if the topics interest you. Debates or Life Issues if you feel like arguing/being a shrink for the day...the choice is yours!

And I was never a man D: *goes and sobs in corner*
