well theres a few things you can do, theres a wide range of threads here, posting in the threads helps you earn gold.

theres also a few games you can play which also earns you some gold :)

and then you can visit the shops with what you earn and buy some clothes for your avatar ^_^

well ---> Synthetika basicly covered the gold earning
...so if you want to learn anything in particular then ask a friend or something
but if you want to learn things in general then read the rules and guide lines
