Why are you annoyed with them, if you don't mind me asking?

Not much really, just petting the cat on my lap right now. He's really fat though...

Ahh, I see. Well I hope things work out for you soon.

Yea, my aunt got him for my sister from an animal shelter, hoping that it would cheer her up a little. His name's Ruffles and I think we're just going to stick with that.

Thanks (: Just a side note- I tend to call people 'mate'. British slang....I'm not even British.

That's fine.
Yea, so did my sis. She seemed pretty excited, and Ruf seemed happy to come home with us. He kind of looks like Garfield to me..

I just don't usually point out 'cute' or 'adorable' things. Probably why I never say it. My sis says it a lot though, which is normal I guess. I'm just not a girl. (Sounds a little harsh though when I say that..)

I'm sorry. I didn't mean it to sound rude.

It's understandable, so don't worry about it.

Tumble 12-19-2009 12:37 AM

I'm not sure really. But maybe I should make a hangout thread, since this is really the 'Fresh Meat' forum.

Welcome to Menewsha.

Anyway . . . .

I have dark messy hair, which I attempt to straighten about half the time (and leave it curly the other half.) Never had problems straightening it, I just get lazy and don't do it all the time.

@the person with burnt hair: Well, there's treatments and things you can put in your hair (if you go to a salon and ask them about it) that help strengthen it and also repair it if it's damaged in any way. I'd say go for that. Some hair just can't handle straightening, especially if the strands are fine. My hair is really thick though, so I have no problem with straightening. It doesn't burn anything.
