I'm new here, sorta. I've had an account for several weeks now, but am only talking to a couple people. I don't write much. I'm really rather ashamed of my writing, but i do like to read so maybe that might help....?

Welcome to Menewsha. I was quiet at first as well and didn't really get to know anyone, but that all changed.

And don't be ashamed of your writing. I used to be the same way, but then someone told me this saying:

"If only the best birds sang in the forest, the forest would be a very quiet place."

The point of the saying is that you don't have to be really good or the best at something in order for it to be okay to share it with others. There's only been a few classics written throughout history and if that was all that was written, none of us would have very much variety on what we want to read. It's the same principal.

Just do it because you like it and always try to improve yourself and that will show in your work.
