I happened upon this site by chance. I realized how much it was like Gaia, and since it seems a little smaller I figured I would give it a chance. Gaia just got too difficult for me to keep up with.

Anyways!

Hello guys, my real name is Brittany; but as for here I will be known as Dru. I like to write stories and roleplay and such, so the name Dru Eldridge comes from a recent character I created, and god I love her. I am seventeen years old, and will be going to college in St. Louis MO to become a Chef. Like any other teenager I love music. Music seems to play into my daily life, just like writing, and cooking does. No matter where I go, my iPod is on and with me.

Other popular things I like would include reading. My number one book for a long time was Twilight. Now that Twilight has paved the way for other Vampire stories, I have found a few I find more enjoyable. Like Vampire Academy and House of Night for sample. You can always talk to be about vampires. I actually got hooked on Twilight in a funny way. I was at church camp back in 2006 reading an Anne Rice novel. I got caught by one of my friends and she like through the book at me. Not going to lie, the cover and the excerpt from Adam and Eve had me believing that she was trying to get me to read something Godly.

What are some other interesting facts about me.. Maybe something creepy. . .? Oh! Got one. Megan Fox makes me look Bisexual when I am not. Well maybe that is not that creepy. Just a little TMI.

I am a die hard Pokemon fan. Not that new stuff. Can not stand for that stuff. The voice actors make me want to rip my ear drums out and feed them to my dogs.

Well, I have nothing Original to stay honestly. So Hello people, Eat me up like the Noob I am. =P

Hey, that's quite a good intro I think. Better than what mine was. :XD

What kind of music do you like?

Oh god. I wish I could just hand you my iPod. Lol !

My music ranges I figure. I can listen from something as hardcore as Bullet for my Valentine, to something as Pop as Selena Gomez. I have seen a few bands live like Skillet, Hawk Nelson, Red, Flyleaf, Skipknot, Paramore, Evanescence, and so forth. I actually saw the first four all together at the Rock the River tour here in St. Louis. It was my first time seeing Flyleaf and Red live, but I have seen Skillet and Hawk way to many times to count XD.

I guarantee if you name a few bands or so off I can tell you whether or not I listen to them.

I wouldn't consider Bullet for my valentine hardcore. But I pretty much uh hate them so. :XD

I like Skillet and Flyleaf. I've seen Machine Head, Arch Enemy, Shadows Fall and Dragonforce live at the Black Crusade tour. Trivium were playing too but bleh I went and sat outside for them. Uh I like Crematory, Bloodpit, Rammstein, 3 doors down, erm CKY, Within Temptation, Blue Oyster Cult, Rage against the machine and Guns N Roses. Well I like more but those are the ones I've listened to recently. I don't think I could list them all off. I have like a million. I can't listen to them all. My Spotify playlist says it's 1.7 days long, it doesn't have everything on it though because some bands don't allow their music on spotify. Which sucks.

I don't see many live ones, lack of money and I has panic attacks in crowds. :XD

^_^ I saw them live the other year. They were really good and some guy pulled me in front of him so I could actually see because he was in front of me and way taller than me so I could just see his back. :XD They were supported by the 69 Eyes. Some girl standing in front of us didn't like them and she just stood there and pulled a face.

Welcome to Menewsha.

I'm a very big Vampire Romance fan girl as well. I love Vampire Academy and Twilight both. Read all the books and saw the Twilight movies as well. I must admit, I didn't like House of Night very much. I tried reading the 1st book and only got part of the way through it because I got tired of her constantly mocking everyone: Christians, goths, people who drink, popular people, etc., etc. I believe in tolerance and that much hatred sickened me to my stomach. I don't care who someone is hating, I just don't like when they do it. But it's fine if you like it. I know a lot of people do and I'm always happy to hear about a fellow vampire romance fan girl. =D

Have you read the Vampire Diaries or watched the T.V. show? How about reading the Evernight books by Claudia Grey? If not, you totally should. I know you'd love them. I really enjoy them and am still looking for more series that I can read and enjoy.

I've actually never owned an iPod in my life. =( *jealous*

And yea, your introduction was way better than mine was when I joined here. Mine was pretty boring. I wasn't really into writing it, so I just wrote,"Hey" or something and nothing else. XD Oh well.

I know, miserable girl. My flat mate who I went with screamed down her ear because she was blocking our view. :XD That was the last live thing I went to. Ran out of money and a place I could actually get to after 11pm.

I don't have an ipod I have a cheap MP4 player that's been through the washing machine. =3 Once it dried out it was perfectly fine. It just steams up a bit when it's hot now. :XD

Oh yeah! I have read Vampire Diaries and Evernight. Don't get me started on the Vampire Diaries TV show though. I got to the second episode and screamed violently about how bad it was for weeks. I have seriously tried to give the show the befit of the doubt but I just can not do it.

So the only show I can get into really watching that is vampire related is True Blood.

Haha, well, I actually like that show. It's very different than the books and I wouldn't say it was the best show on the television, so I can understand how you don't like it though.

You can also try watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer too. It does have a lot to do with Vampires, although that's not the entire focus. =D I love that show as well and Buffy has a lot of different romances with Vampire men.

I don't like Buffy mostly but not entirely because there is just something about Sarah Michelle Gellar that angers me. I don't know what or why I just can't watch anything she's in without getting annoyed, Angel was good except the final series.

HAHA!
-Highfives-

Buffy the Vampire Slayer FTW!

When I was a kid, I was seriously obsessed with vampires then, and Buffy was my show to watch. No one f'ed with me when that show was on.

Awww. =( Well, it's understandable, some people get annoyed by certain things, but I personally love Sarah Michelle Gellar.

I'm working on watching Angel now. I've only seen the first season so far. D= That episode with the possessed boy was so scary! OMG!
