Hey.
Well, I'm Paul and I am twenty years old from the glorious sunshine of Scotland. This is my very first experience of a site like this before so am a little unsure on what your actually supposed to do. My girlfriend is the one who dragged me here, she had been trying for the last month or so to get me on here and finally she has succeeded.
She has helped me pimp out my profile and set everything up but I still don't get what your supposed to do at all. How do you earn gold here? I mean I am not a natureist in anyway so its not the best thing in the world to walk around starkers.
A little about myself: I am expecting my first child in September so thats going to be excited. I am getting married in 2012. I love going out with my friends and getting absolutly hammered and I love spending time with my family. Of course my girlfriend is a major part of my socialization too.
I love Music, TV and Movies. I am a big couch potato. Though I do actually love running, I go out for a jog every Sunday, then veg and eat crisps infront of the football for an afternoon. I am a huge fan of Hearts and Arsenal.
If there is anything I have missed out or you want to know feel free to ask. I don't mind at all. The internet knows all my secrets anyway. Yeah...I am that sad.

You already have enough gold to buy the cheapest item in the Menewsha shops. Go to Hot Gossip and buy the first item if it makes you feel uncomfortable being naked. You'll soon learn though that it's easy to make gold here. I make hundreds of gold every day without even trying a lot of times. I'd be a lot richer if I wasn't so wasteful with it. Buying useless items all the time and then selling them back at half price over and over again. D= Ugh, I'm so bad with gold on sites like these and still I have plenty of stuff. XD

You can earn gold one of two ways. One is making long posts (the longer the post, the more gold you get) and you seem like you can do so easily and the other is by playing games. I prefer tetris. You can make up to 500g a day by playing games.

I convinced my boyfriend to join this place as well, but he doesn't really go on it much. XD Oh well. I was surprised when he joined it at all.

I'm a major couch potato as well and the internet knows all my secrets as well. =o So no judgement here.

Yeah I saw that, I don't think I am going to buy it though, its a little too much like a dress for my tastes, I think I am happy just now. I would rather save for an outfit that I would actually wear. Though most of the items here are pretty girly.
Its allright here, I mean its not something I would join often, I mean I don't think I'm going to try out all the other avatar sites but this one is OK. I don't think I will be on it overly often though. But you never know.
Oh I see. You can actually earn for games? I absolutely love tetris, I remember as a kid I had it for the gameboy, I could launch the rocket. I will definately have to take a look at them. How much gold can you earn from posting? Is there a limit to that?
Thats good then, nice to meet a fellow couch potato like myself. If anything major happens to me I always post it on the internet first so normally random strangers find out before family and friends xD

There is a limit of 20 gold per post. So no matter how long your post goes, you won't earn more than that, but you can make as many 20 gold posts as you want per day. No limit to that number.

And yea, if you play a game, you automatically are given the gold you earned for it when you lose.

I think a lot of avatar sites do indeed have a lot of girly items on them and I think that turns a lot of guys away. I remember back when I used to post on Gaia, I got my brother to post on it for awhile and he complained A LOT about how the avatar and all the stuff for it were so girly. XD Oh well, though. I like how they look a lot, but that doesn't really say much because I am a girl.

@ The Enchanted Tiara: I see. Its quite nice that there is no limit to posting, it would take me an age to earn gold if there was. Though saying that its taking me a while to get some now so I don't know what I am rabbiting on about. Though I have my first item now, my little eyepatch.
My girlfriend downloaded the MAC when she first joined so I was playing around on that and I have now created my first outfit, I need about 5,500 to get it though. Also I am a little lost on where to find most of the items so I need to have a proper search for them. My first one sort of looks a little like a gay warrior or something though. :\
My girlfriend has a gaia account I think. She has about three or four of these sites. One of them is definately called Ernya though because she was on that earlier.

Welcome! It's nice to see another guy on here...they're too few and far between. If you don't mind dressing a little formal, they have a lot of nice tail coats and top hats in the more expensive stores (I couldn't tell you what one specifically...at least not off the top of my head). I hope it's not a strange thing to ask a native...but is it expensive to visit Scotland? I don't want specifics, but I've been thinking about taking a trip there once I've finished my BA and have no idea what the going rate for hotels or other places to stay are =^_^=;; It's super expensive to stay in the town I'm living in currently because it's such a tourist spot but I don't know anything about travel. Anyway, sorry to ramble. Congratulations on the baby!!! That's so exciting. My goddaughter just turned 1 in December, but it seems like yesterday she was born. I actually got to be in the delivery room =^_^= Not to sound too sappy, but it was a magical experience. Oh, and welcome again!

Nah, its not too expensive to visit Scotland, though it does really depend on where abouts your planning on going, I mean places like Edinburgh during holiday season is extremely expensive for everyone, though further north in the smaller country areas it is great and pretty cheap. I really do reccommend that you take a trip one day.
Its allright I had a good look in the stores and I have found plenty of things to get myself sorted so its all good.
