So yea, I'm new to this site and am looking to make all sorts of new friends. I've been an otaku for almost 10 years now and know about all sorts of different anime so if you'd like to chat it up some time lemme know!

Hi and Welcome to Mene~! I am a would-be otaku... but I have a husband who makes me go out of the house and do things >.< So what are your favorite animes of all time?

Wow, that's a tough question. Each anime has it's possitive and negitives so in the end trying to compair each is just SUCH a head acke. I am kind of a memory faithful person, so to speak, so I guess my favorites would be the ones I started out with way back when. Sailor Moon, Digimon, Dragonball Z. It's a little pethetic but back then it was the only anime on TV.

I <3 Sailor moon~! I dont think that is pathetic at all... when I have friends ask me what is so great about anime, I pull out my oldest box sets because that is where my passion started ^_^ I think the older ones are some of the best just because they have a special place in my heart

I agree. It's so simple yet amazing. Especially Sailor Moon. It's the old style anime, with a good story line. Even if it is super girly in the begining. Which plot line was your favorite?

Welcome! I just started too. I'm also a huge Otaku. I do like Sailor moon but I hate how American censorship cut it up. Back then when Anime was new to us they thought it was for kids since it was a cartoon. So they censored it like mad! DBZ as well. Now they don't do that because of the market age and the fans are now in charge of the publishing of the shows and Manga. I think that if they haven't already, they should remake sailor moon properly.
I myself started my fascination with Anime and Manga with a series called "Record of the Lotus Wars" I highly recomend it! That was a little before Tsunami started showing anime.
I collect more in the way of Manga then I do Anime though. My collection is huge and I know that I've wasted a lot of money on it but I can't help it... it's an obsession really. XD

Inuyasha was good, but ended way too soon in my opinion.
Naruto and I don't quite see eye to eye.
Bleach is amazing. It's prolly the only anime I started with the Manga first.
FMA was to short for my liking. The movie after though was good.

Deek- im reading it right now! hahaah i looove it!

Inuyami- i am watching it on tv, it hasnt reached the end and its taking FOREVERRR. haha and the others, yeah but i dont have alot of manga/animes that im into at one time, normally its just one instead of five. ♥

Well if nothing else it's a good anti-drug lol

I usually just find anime on different stationg, DVR them then obsess if they are any good, though i can't say I've found very many that I don't like. One Piece is on that I just can't do however.

I dont really like one piece, not in my favor of anime style.

Hi Ladies! I'm totally in love with anime too! Inuyasha was the very first i ever saw... tho i still have about 15-20 episodes left to see. I also love full metal alchemist as well. Does anyone read the online manga Red String?
