I'm brand new to Menewsha, but am familiar with sites like this, so the transition shouldn't be too bad. I decided to join because the community looks pretty close knit – but welcoming, which is a really nice change from the other two extremes. Where on one hand you have the too big sites where you just get lost, and on the other side where it’s so cliquish that it’s tough to make friends.
So anyway, I’d be honored if you would stick around and chat for a bit while I try to figure out all of the little nit-picky stuff. After all, I’d love to make some new friends. :)

Tell meee!!! LOL. And I know EXACTLY what you mean. It's not even a music video, it's like a little movie. O_O FULL OF R-RATED EVENTS. I love her music... but it gets pretty annoying when they play it like fifty billion times on the radio. I'll never get tired of her debut with Akon though, JUST DANCE. XD I just want to dance every time I hear it.

Same for me, I think she's the right mix of talented/super entertaining, but if I have to her Paparazzi one more time I might go crazy. xD
Just Dance is awesome, although I'm sad because I never really clicked with Poker Face and they still play that often enough that I really should...

Lol, well Abercrombie's website has a real cool playlist that I sometimes listen to for music. Heh. And surfin' around YouTube is a good way to find music too. :D

That’s exactly what I was expecting too! Just a nice, logical, music video for what’s meant to be fun dancing song. (: I found their choice of product placement hilarious, seeing ‘Virgin Mobile’ three or four times made me laugh, just given who we’re talking about here. :lol:
I’ll be sure to take both of those suggestions! Can never have too much music, after all. I’ve taken to using Pandora to try and find stuff. It’s an Internet radio that you can make specific stations for, and sometimes their stuff is awesome, but other times it’s really off the wall.
That makes sense; these sorts of places always seem to attract the more artsy types for whatever reason. Not that I mean to stereotype in any way, it’s just something I kind of noticed, after all I love my fair share of less well known stuff too. (: It’s just fun being able to turn on the radio and know all the words.
You may like Franz Ferdinand. I only suggest them because they aren’t super well known, but still pretty danceable most times. (: Do you have a male or female lead vocalist preference? It might help me to avoid suggesting stuff you’ll hate. :lol:

Don't worry about it! It feels more like a conversation that way, because if we're not talking about ourselves, than all that's left is for for us to awkwardly talk about being new. Although that's cool too, because being new here is quite the adventure. xD
He's in jail? :o I don't follow pop-culture so much, mostly just the music, but that's good to know before I accidentally mention how much I like some of his stuff to someone more judgemental. And then there will be that fun awkward pause...
But, I really like a lot of the ones you mentioned, and Kid Cudi is my recent obsession. <3 A lot of his stuff has a lot of swearing, and some questionable themes, but I enjoy it musically, so I block it out and just don't play it around my parents. :lol:
