Hey welcome back! Here's how to change your username.

How do I change my username?If you would like to change your username you can do, but there is a fee. The first change will cost you 1000 gold, with any subsequent changes, the fee will rise by a further 500.

If you've made a simple spelling error, or wish to remove excess punctuation, spaces, underscores, etc, but not actually change the name itself, there is no charge.

You can send a PM to either jellysundae, Jurupamae , Yanyan13 , or CK and we will perform this task for you.

A couple of things to remember:

• If you do change your user name, another user can then take on the name you had previously. So make sure that you are sure you want to give up your current name, as you might not be able to get it back if you decide you don't like your new name.
• If you want to check on the availability of a different name, here's what to do.
  1. Go to your profile(either by clicking the link below one of your posts, or on your name up in the top right-hand corner where it says welcome.
  2. On the left beneath the site logo you'll see this: Menewsha Avatar Community > Members List > Your profile
  3. Click on the members List link
  4. On the righthand side you'll see a search members section in a pale blue box
  5. Click on that and enter the name you want, if it's already taken then that person's profile link will show up.
  6. If the name is available you'll see this message Quote:
     Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

Oh! Thats cool that you get a choice to change your username here... hmm.

Yup! But since it costs quite a bit of gold, it's best to think long and hard about what you want to change it to.
