Hey my name is Nick/Nicky I'm a boy of 16 I love meeting new people participating in sports, singing, and playing instruments, I recently started playing the acoustic and bass guitar, my singing is improving (at least I think it is) and I'll soon most likely be starting piano lessons so figures crossed x33, guitar was self taught :33
and yeah I dunno what else to say. xD

Hey Nick, Im Lavinia. Glad to see you have your hobbies, lets hope our music tastes are similar cause that will make for good conversation! :D

I tried learning guitar once, still got the acoustic actually, but i never got very far unfortunately, so i moved on to drums, which went a lot better! Well, it did until my mum got sick of all the noise so i had to sell them, so lets just say it's been a while.

I recently moved on to guitar hero and rock band hehe. (sad i know!)

Anyway, i hope the piano lessons go well, and i hope you enjoy Mene, looks like you already figured out the shops. so as Louis says, What bands do you like? (I listen to metal mostly) :)

Haha, not bad, buuuttt, no where near enough metal in there!

I can honestly say i only listened to 5 of those bands xD
And they would be three doors down, trapt, red hot chillis, all that remains, and linkin park xD

You need to get into the heavier stuff. If you like all that remains why dont you try unearth, or sylosis especially. I've recently got in to that band, they are awesome. Great guitar riffs, and singing aswell as screaming :D

Well if you only know five how do you know there is not enough metal? xD

*Give a listen to A Day To Remember.

Hmmm thinks of a good song*

YouTube - A DAY TO REMEMBER - Monument
AND
YouTube - A Day to Remember - "The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle" Victory Records

For now.

They're my favorite band, if you dun like It's all good :P

Some more of there heavier stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsptGR1g0c0

The thing is I don't listen to metal just for the sound, the singers screams have to be good and same goes with their voice

Hey there! And welcome! I came from gaia too, I know I like it much better here. Like your taste in music, that's a pretty extensive list :-p Also, I studied classical piano for about 12 years of my early life, then ended up falling in love with an old bass one day and have never turned back :-p Just something about the feel of having it in my hands that makes me feel so alive.

Anyway hope you like it here :-) Let me know if ya need anything

I find the bass kind of difficult, I learned part of dogs can grow beards all over by devil wears prada, maybe I'm not into the bass that much cause I don't have an amp for it, or maybe it's the fact that I'm not sure what I wan't to play x33, and piano has always been an interest of mine hopefully I get those lessons *crosses figures*

Oh, and I feel the need to say that I was totally just rocking out to 3OH!3 on my way to work tonight, my band is considering doing a less electronic more dark rock cover of their Don't Trust Me so I was trying to figure out what way I wanna go with the vocals ^_^
